Stanley Cottage

This property is in a prime spot of Windermere. Close to the train station and even closer to the high street. Very cosy interior with personal touches, comfortable beds, modern large bathrooms and well equipped facilities - including lots of board games to enjoy and every kitchen utensil you can think of! Had such a wonderful stay, I will be recommending to any that want to visit the Lake District.

I guess clearer instructions regarding collecting the keys from the local cottage.com shop on the high street. This wasn’t particularly clear on the instructions I received.

The keys needed to be collected from the office, which could be explained more explicitly in the email.

The cottage was cosy and comfortable. It had a well equipped kitchen with everything you could ask for. Lovely bedrooms and the two bathrooms were very clean one had full bath and large shower cubicle the other was a large shower room plus an extra wc on first floor. The basement lounge had a small outdoor seating area and a large utility room with another wc. The cottage locates excellent it is right in centre of two close to all amenities. I would highly recommend this property.
