We were right in the centre of Sydney but not in the thick of the rush and chaos of a city. The view was stunning - right on the waters edge. We could see the colours of the sunrise and sunset. The Botanical gardens were right next door. We took a lovely walk through the gardens to the Sydney Opera House and a view of the Harbour Bridge. The building itself is steeped in history with many of the original features still on view. It is a lovely mix of old and modern in the right balance. The security staff were very friendly and reassuring - being on hand if ever we needed them. The apartment itself was very clean but homely too. Really comfortable beds - having slept in a campervan for 3 weeks, this was very welcome. Our host stayed in contact and responded quickly to any question we had. We hope to return one day.

There is a constant sound like a fan, in the bottom bedroom that some might find disturbing. Others might find it helps them sleep. Our daughter wasn't troubled by it. It is a shame we have to go home.

It's a great location and the apartment is clean and functional.

The admin of this was appalling. It's not booking.com, it's a third party (I think through airbnb). They have all these requirements of sending ID photos and rules about visitors. They also send message after message, micromanaging your stay. The advertised price on booking.com does not include other fees, so expect to pay more than thannyhe advertised price. Also, the listing implies you have access to the pool and gym, but you don't - the fob does not work. So all in all, its nice but not worth the hassle or the cost. Oh and there is some fan constantly going in both bedrooms that I could not work out hownl to turn off and it was soooo loud.
