Wharf House Woolloomooloo

The house was very well equipped with a lot of extras included in the kitchen including a good coffee machine, pods, herbs, spices and oils and washing tablets and lovely accessories in the spacious bathrooms. The location opposite the Wharf and within walking distance of Opera House, Botanical Gardens and City Centre was ideal.

The house was well situated but incredibly noisy with road noise - buses and bin men - throughout the day and night. This is at its worst in the top room which picks up both front and back noises. There was notification about roadworks the week prior to our stay but no one warned us about them digging up the path right outside the door at 7a.m. each morning. After 24 hours of travel from the UK we were charged a large additional amount for entering the property early and although we have an email confirming we asked them to use the same credit card we were then harassed all week for an "overdue" payment. All in all a nice property with good facilities but a high financial charge for 5 nights of no sleep.
