Charming 3-bedroom house in marvelous Ukrainian village Chicago

There are items to note that are outside of control of the property owner and generally those are items I can easily look past. To note they are a whole house gut rehab construction site next door, and the property backs to an alley overlooking a raucous patio for a bar. Cool place and wanted to go chill on the patio, but they partied late... late into the night. Again, those are FYI's to the next renters. Here are some things to note about the property that are in control of the property owner. This is a carriage house in the rear of the lot. You will be behind a main property. There was no security to the lot, gates locked but were easily accessed by reaching through the gate and turning the nob. House windows did not lock or close properly so security was totally lacking. Windows lacked screens. Pest control was nonexistent, ants were active throughout the property during our stay. House was dirty when we arrived, trash in downstairs bathroom was not taken out, sheets looked dirty, bathrooms felt dingy, etc. House was a bit run down, lacked trash receptacles. Some positivesGreat location. Bus stop near by, walkable area good restaurant scene. Owner was responsive with AC issue though we did spend one night without it and issues with windows mentioned above.We only stayed 2 nights and were not at the house much at all so we just sucked it up and dealt with the issues. Wanted to leave a review for the next person so they know a little more
