Amazing location, walking distance to many restaurants, bakeries, and bars. Also close to a great coworking space (The Warehouse). There was easy street parking right out front - we had 2 cars and had no problem finding space. The bed was very comfy, as was the futon couch! The chairs on the front porch were great for morning coffee and afternoon breaks - we met a few lovely neighbors by sitting out there! The wifi worked best in the kitchen for video calls, but worked just fine in the entry way for other computer work.
There was just 1 cast iron pan and no baking dish - best to ask for additional pans if you intend to cook a meal for two!

This was such an amazing stay. Upon arrival, the host showed me around and told me how everything worked. Plus, she lives next-door, which made it easy to reach her if I wanted to.
The place was cleaned, and had everything I would need: appliances for cooking, first-aid kit, additional beddings, tv, etc. it almost felt like I was home.
The house is located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood, which was perfect for me because I could go spend nights out dancing in the french quarter and bourbon street, but then come back to a quiet house to rest.
It would be nice to have an additional pot for cooking that is more maleable. The ones I found were a bit heavy, but that's just a personal preference :)

Maisha is super kind, always available to support. In the house you'll find all needed for a short stay and even some details that show how much she care (suncreen cream, mosquito repellent, sunburn cream. She even let us found cool water in the fridge at our arrival). You'll stay in a New Orleans' tipical shotgun house, 20 mins by foot from the French Market.
