Pubes in the shower, poo on the walls. Super. Hotel NOPE. Refugee Asylum YES.
First time visiting Southampton, the area was lovely and so were the people
At 8pm, after having driven 6 hours to get to the guest house, I expected to go in, get unpacked and get ready for bed. However, upon arrival, I entered the building and the first thing I noticed was the bad odour and how unkept the hall was. I then went to the kitchen, to which the light was flickering on and off and the kitchen tops and fridge were a state. At this point I thought, "whatever it's just a place to stay for the night". But when I got to my room, somebody was staying in it. Lovely. So I tried to contact the number given to me and the response I got was "sorry we're closed". I finally got in touch through booking.com and the "cleaner" came out to kick the poor lady out of the room. Unfortunately, she ended up having to sleep in the corridor. I asked for clean sheets after that but the response I got was "no". So after all this, I finally unpacked and got to terms with the situation. All I thought about was just getting some sleep as I had a long journey and needed to be up early in the morning for a powerlifting competition. So I went to the bathroom to get ready for bed and, to my pleasant surprise, there was poo on the wall and pubes in the shower. But hey, at least the shower was warm. I didn't expect much but I expected my own clean room and expected there not to be poo on the bathroom walls. Check the photos for proof. I eventually got to sleep in a unchanged sheets, 30 degree bedroom. When I left at 7:15 in the morning, the poor girl that had been kicked out moved straight back in the room. The residents were lovely though, shame about everything else. Not sure why this is advertised on booking.com

It good but have to improve on the kitchen aspect .
It was okay and good toilets facilities.
Kitchen was always untidy and complains of stolen stuff from the fridge.
And some random neighbours making noise around 2am when I was trying to sleep. Which disrupted my sleep quite a lot .

This was very cheap and very basic accommodation, which does what it says on
I think some sort of table in the kitchen would be nice and reasonable to expect. Also, the shower was poor in terms of temperature and pressure.
