An Italian delight

Lovely historic place. Absolutely beautiful garden with natural swimmingpool and many little private sitting area’s. Loris and his family did everything to make our stay great. Our motorcycles and us felt very welcome in this little paradise.

Feels like Time Machine throws you back

We stayed here only for one night, very authentic old mill on a creek. Feels like Time Machine throws you back to 40-100 years ago . Management team is super friendly - Italian style ! We took a breakfast - excellent coffee , good choice of deli meat and cheese, eggs , fresh croissants . Outdoor dining near the creek, calm,quiet, nature scenery . Absolutely coming back !

Historic charm ❤️

Unique and fascinating property! Very friendly hosts who gave us a tour of the beautiful working mill and told us a lot of history about the mill. Private parking. Room was simple but clean and good value. Outside area was fantastic and very picturesque! Great breakfast was served outside by the river and the mill.

Overnachten in een museum

Het verblijf bij Molina Valsecchi is eerder een familiebijeenkomst dan een hotel-stay. De wijze waarop de eigenaren je ontvangen is dan ook hartverwarmend. Men doet alles om het je naar de zin te maken. Hierbij vallen de minpuntjes snel in het niet. De locatie is zeer bijzonder en ademt de rustieke sfeer van eeuwen geleden. De zelf gekookte maaltijden zijn gebaseerd op lokale gerechten en ingrediënten; zeer smaakvol. Ondanks de vele spulletjes in de kamers, is het allemaal uiterst hygiënisch.

Omdat het eerder op een b&b lijkt, moet je niet hotel efficiency verwachten. Vanwege het historische karakter van de locatie, zijn de looppaden en gangen nogal grof aangelegd en bijna niet toegankelijk voor mensen, die slecht ter been zijn. Door de nogal volle inrichting van de kamers, komen ze kleiner over dan ze in feite zijn. Toch is het een belevenis om in Molina Valsecchi te verblijven.

Un luogo bellissimo e degno di essere visitato, con un potenziale incredibile è un ragazzo che ci ha accolto molto gentile , che lavora al mulino .

1- difficile da individuare perché non c’era indicazione 2- stanza « incantata » fredda e maleodorante di muffa 3 stanza sporca con diversi oggetti laccidto da altri ospiti. 4 letto che odora di vecchio e cuscini da cambiare . Ci vuole poco

Le recensioni precedenti ci hanno convinti a scegliere la struttura, per noi è stata una delusione.

Dal punto di vista naturalistico bello l'ambiente lungo il torrente Lambro, che in questo tratto è un corso d'acqua di montagna, con cascate e laghetti molto pittoreschi. Molto bello ed interessante il mulino-museo. Abbiamo usufruito della cena una sera, e quanto ci è stato servito era buono ed in porzioni abbondanti. Il bagno della nostra camera era ristrutturato di recente.

I locali e gli arredi sono datati (non solo quelli del mulino-museo) la zona molto umida fa sì che all'interno ci sia un sentore di chiuso e di muffa. Il locale dove si mangia è poco più che una vecchia cantina, fredda ed umida. La televisione in camera abbiamo scoperto non essere tale, ma solo un monitor non collegato. Colazione così così. Non ci sono insegne, e dall'esterno è difficile capire che si tratta di un b&b. Inoltre la struttura si trova dietro un vecchio capannone industriale abbandonato. La piscina è una vasca in cemento armato alimentata dalle acque del torrente. Non adatto a persone con difficoltà motorie. Consigliato eventualmente solo in piena estate, e a coloro cui piacciono le strutture molto rustiche.

Zeer authentiek, vriendelijk, warm en de unieke combinatie van het museum en de B&B. Boven alles zijn de bewoners zeer gastvrij en heel welwillend.

Op het eerste oog weet je niet goed waar je je moet melden.

Accueil chaleureux et cadre magnifique

Le couple était vraiment très gentil et attentionné. Nous avons pris la formule dîner sur place, ils nous ont proposé la spécialité de la région polenta au fromage qui était à mon goût « trop riche », ils ont eu la bonté de me proposer un autre plat « gnocchi al ragu » exceptionnel ! Merci encore !

Un magico Molino

Cercavo un luogo dove potermi rilassare e divertire insieme a mia figlia e abbiamo trovato questo bellissimo posto. Il Molino Valsecchi è un posto davvero fuori dal comune e pieno di storia. Devo ringraziare davvero il signor Alfredo che grazie alla sua passione e al suo amore per questo luogo la reso magico, i suoi racconti sugli oggetti e materiali antichi che circondano il Molino ci hanno intrattenuto e incuriosito molto. Mia figlia è rimasta incantata dal molino per lei è stato come vivere un' avventura nel passato. Un grazie di cuore anche a tutto il personale che ci ha accolto con cibo e servizi davvero impeccabili. Sicuramente tornerò a visitare questo bellissimo Molino.

Vivere una favola!!!

Che dire, vivere una favola al giorno d'oggi è ancora possibile. Cominciando da Alfredo Valsecchi, il proprietario del Mulino o come preferisce definirsi lui "Il Mugnaio", un gentiluomo di altri tempi. La sua passione, il suo amore per il Mulino e per tutto quello che gli è stato tramandato da suo nonno Battista, traspare in tutti i suoi racconti. Una persona che con la sua sensibilità riesce a commuoverti e ad emozionarti. Una persona che porterò sempre nei miei pensieri più teneri. Poi c'è Diana, che si fa in quattro per non farti mancare nulla, una bomba in tutto quello che fa. Se dovessi descrivere il Mulino Valsecchi, lo definirei un bellissimo tuffo nel passato. Lo consiglio vivamente. 10++++++

Le personnel est très sympathique, merci à Dino pour la visite du moulin et les explications. Cadre authentique en pleine nature, beaux paysages. Beaucoup de choix au petit déjeuner. Nous avons séjourné au moulin pour la Saint Laurent et avons pu assister à la présentation des étoiles. Merci au spécialiste pour la traduction en anglais.

La prestation du soir était un peu chère et pas bien détaillée en avance.

De ligging aan een waterval, het eten en de sociale omgang van het personeel.

De kamers waren niet helemaal schoon. We zagen bijvoorbeeld spinnewebben in de hoeken van het plafond. Wij verbleven 7 daten wat vrij lang is. Het was fijn geweest als ze een keer in die 7 dagen de kamer zouden reinigen.

Molino antiguo con mucho encanto

Los dueños eran muy simpaticos y amables y el sitio era ideal, antiguo pero precioso y con mucho encanto, la terraza del molino era preciosa e ideal para la cena y el rio pasa justo al lado, ideal para relajarse o darse un baño. El trato inmejorable y fue una estancia muy agradable.

Un piccolo paradiso tra le montagne

Il posto é bellissimo, circondato da un prato verde, con una fonte d'acqua naturale che scorre dietro all'edificio, che finisce un una piscina di pietra dove si può fare il bagno. Il proprietario ci ha raccontato la storia del mulino e fatto vedere le stanze che usavano i suoi antenati che hanno vissuto lì. Abbiamo cenato al mulino la prima sera, era tutto molto buono e casalingo, e anche la colazione internazionale ci é piaciuta.

Alcuni punti della stanza andrebbero puliti meglio, come ad esempio lo specchio del bagno, e i mobili che erano un pó polverosi.

Uno spettacolo!

Luogo tranquillo, ben tenuto. Si respira storia ad ogni angolo ma la vera magia la compie il sig. Afredo, proprietario della struttura, con i suoi racconti appassionati tramandati dai suoi avi. La camera è spaziosa il giusto, la colazione abbondante e preparata al momento. Quello che ti rimane dentro è la tranquillità del posto.

Muss ich unbedingt wieder hingegen, und vielleicht dann noch besser zu zweit.

Die Gastfreundlichkeit des Inhabers war außergewöhnlich Angenehm und erfrischend. Die Geschichte, welches das Haus und der Inhaber erzählen können. Die einmalige Umgebung, einfach traumhaft und lädt zum entspannen ein. Auch beim Essen kann man (vorher) eigene Wünsche anbringen. Man spürt, man ist in Italien.

Man darf nicht vergessen, dass das Haus rund 1200 Jahre alt ist, resp. man versucht die Umgebung so zu lassen, wie es sein muss. Das darf der Gast nicht stören.

Ein Juwel

Traumlage, sehr freundliche Gastgeber, super Essen. Die Unterkunft ist in einer 650 Jahre alten Mühle, direkt an einem wilden Bach gelegen. Sehr tierfreundlich, unsere beiden Hunde haben sich auch sehr wohl gefühlt. Beim Essen werden ausschließlich frische Zutaten verwendet und es wird alles frisch zubereitet.

Die Zufahrt könnte besser gekennzeichnet werden, man verpasst sie leicht hinter der Kurve.
