The apartment exceeded our expectations, it's fully renovated, air-conditioned and looks much better than the photos. Pristine clean, modern furnished, 2 balconies, sea view and everything necessary for a comfortable stay.
In terms of location, it's aprrox 8km from the historic center (Palermo Cathedral) and other tourist attractions, 6.6 km from the central train station (Palermo centrale). Bus 224 takes you to the main train station , from there the distance to the historic center is 3.2km (another bus and a short walk).
Buses in Palermo are unreliable, be prepared to walk. The distance to Mondello beach (17km) is 3 bus rides, approx 2.5h. The beach across the road from the apartment isn't suitable for sunbathing due to major work being carried out by the local authorities and the nature of the beach itself.
There's a café and a bakery withing 3 mins walk, Eurospin supermarket is approx 10 mins walk. There's a pharmacy too less than 5 min from the apartment.
Although it's situated on a main busy street, the levesl of noise are moderate (that's Palermo after all). Both bedrooms are looking towards a small side street.

Sehr sauberes, modern eingerichtetes Appartement. Küche ist gut ausgestattet und das Badezimmer groß genug. 2 Schlafzimmer können auch von Vorteil sein.
15 Autominuten bis Palermo Zentrum.
Die Lage direkt an der Hauptstraße, inklusive verkehrsreicher Kreuzung. Es war Tag und Nacht sehr laut!!!!

La vue, les équipements, l’entretien et la relation avec l’hôte ont été parfaits du début à la fin.
Les bus sont un peu long à arriver mais arrivent toujours et ne s’arrêtent pas à tous les arrêts ce qui fait qu’il ne faut que 15 ou 20 minutes pour arriver au centre ville.
La rue est bruyante, mais il est rare de trouver du calme à Palerme, la montée d’escalier aussi mais les voisins sont vigilants et ça n’est pas très dérangeant.
La propreté du quartier mais c’est partout la même chose à Palerme.
