The Place

Stunning apartment in the heart of Budapest with everything right on the doorstep. Clean modern and spacious. The fixtures and fitting all of high quality. Beds huge and super comfy. Two bathrooms, one being en suite, the other just off the kitchen which connects the two bedrooms. Host was very helpful with good communication. You won’t be disappointed 10/10.

Nothing to fault.

the modern design of the flat is amazing and done with great taste. Great location and easy to walk in all different places of interest of the city like some monuments, restaurants, ruin bars and cafes. Also close to public transports, tram, bus and metro. Basic necessities provided.

As per photo of the flat, it states 2 bedrooms but the 2nd bed is in the lounge but not a problem for us 3. It could use a little improvement by installing some light net curtains in the bedroom and lounge as it is impossible to open the shutters during the day if you don't want to be seen inside and the dark blinds are on the way of opening the window and very impracticable. Not sure about the TV as couldn't get any European channels so couldn't watch it.

The apartment is newly renovated and has two large bedrooms and a spacious kitchen. It includes two bathrooms with toilets. The location is excellent, in the Jewish Quarter, at the end of a street, so it is not too noisy. There is a very good supply of hot water for showers. The building has an elevator, although there are a few steps to climb from the entrance.

One of the bedrooms does not have air conditioning. In addition, this room faces the building’s shared balcony. As a result, it is not possible to open the window because neighbors smoke directly outside, and it feels uncomfortable knowing that people can look directly into the room. It is also difficult to keep the curtains open, as there is a light directly in front of the window. There are three rooms with glass doors but no curtains, which makes it hard to sleep if other guests in the apartment are still active, especially when staying as a group. There was no shampoo or soap in the showers. We also had to ask for additional garbage bags, as only two were provided (we stayed for six nights with two people). There were no mugs for hot drinks, which made drinking hot tea or coffee inconvenient. The apartment is marketed as first-class, but it lacks basic comfort. With a few simple improvements by the owner, the experience could be significantly better.
