Central, modern and safe with great service

In a great location to reach many areas easily, very central. Very safe and secure with security for the main building and again at the hotel front desk (24 hour). Extremely comfortable beds and nice balcony. Strong wifi. Kitchen has everything you need and a nice walk-in shower. And on top, great staff: the building manager Kenny is extremely kind and helpful, he was very attentive to every need.

Beautiful room with a wonderful view

The room is beautifully appointed as in the image. The view from the balcony was over Bo Kaap and up to table Mountain was absolutely wonderful. Kenny (the agent) was exceptionally flexible. He supported me during my stay and answered all my questions. He also helped with my transfer to my next hotel, where I was due to join my main tour. Kenny couldn't do enough to make my stay comfortable, and he's a total asset to his organisation.

Not as such, but the A/C unit is quite noisy. Although I slept through after travelling for some 18 hours.

A fabulous place to stay

Location was great, check in was easy, staff were friendly, the room was lovely and well maintained.

We were given the wrong code to open the door and there was only one bath towel but lots of smaller ones and one pool towel, these issues were quickly rectified. Very good support from the hosts.

Comfortable stay in Bo Kaap

Very convenient location, comfortable bed and an amazing rooftop view. Kenny the housekeeper was so delightful and helped with everything!

Before arriving, the manager had messaged to say I could leave my luggage at reception and go out to explore since check-in isn’t till 3pm. I arrived at exactly the time I’d told the manager, but I learned that there isn’t a reception, so the message was very confusing. The incredibly kind housekeeper came downstairs to security to help me and put my bags in the room that would later be mine, after it was cleaned. Clearer messaging from the manager would be helpful.

Never again

The property is well situated and very clean but everything else was un pleasant. Since I my cruise ship docked at 8am, I had already notified them that I would be arriving early. On arrival , I had to pay 100 rands extra for a nearby coffee shop to hold my luggage until check/in even though the hotel advertised that it will hold baggage for you. The room was was very noisy and when I shut the window to sleep the AC it did not work..very sleepless night.. Lights in the room did not work …especially in the bathroom which had flickering lights. On leaving for an early flight..i requested someone to arrange a taxi to the airport and to assist with my luggage. They wanted to charge me 700.rand (200 rand is normal) and even with the extra charge they said no one would help with the luggage because they do not arrive until 9am. So I made my own arrangements . Thank goodness that I only stayed for 2 days!!!!!

Fabulous location. Enough space in the apartment to feel we had elbow room. Clean, comfy bed, good facilities.

The only thing I didn’t like was our room was right opposite a mosque so we were called to prayer at a very early time. I’m not Muslim so this was a bit irritating! But it didn’t last long & I soon fell back to sleep.

It was great! Had it been closer to the DHL stadium, I’d stay there again for May 2026 Cape Town Marathon.

It was very safe and secure, clean and tidy, modern and up to date.

At room 408, i could smell a cigarette smoke even when my windows were closed. I dunno where it is coming from.

It was very clean and well put together, also had everything and the Host Sima was really cool and heaven sent everything we needed was there for us. The security of the area is also very comforting.

Check-in desk was a bit confusing, but eventually someone came to take us to the room. Very nice apartment, clean, comfortable. No TV to watch unfortunately, as Netflix etc required a password, which expired and we could not access. Kept our luggage on check out day, which was great and much appreciated. No further problems, will stay again.

Comfortable room with lovely view.

Great view of Table mountain and Lion's head. Great Shower. Comfortable bed. Good couch. Nice kitchen facilities. Friendly hospitality staff (replaced our kettle and reset our TV as well printing material for us). Interesting check in - part of 117 but not the main tower. Location good for Bo Kaap, Long Street and a 25 minutes walk to V&A (with places on the way).

Check in instructions could be clearer. The Elephant is a subset of The Rose, itself a only a part of the 117 complex. Facial recognition for lifts was strange. Only a small space at the foot of the bed.

Solution parfaite pour des vacances.

EMplacement parfait dans Bo-Kaap, rues calmes et sures, à proximité de plusieurs restaurant et cafés, et aussi café dans l'enceinte même de l'immeuble. Le personnel et plus particulièrement l'Hôte sont extremement serviables, compréhensifs et accomodants.

La possibilité d'un petit déjeuner compris dans la formule serait un plus en cas de séjour profesionnel (de mon point de vue personnel).

Отличное месторасположение в безопасном районе Кейптауна. Комплекс охраняется. Доступ на этаж на лифте, который считывает ваше лицо и только после этого едет. Апартаменты небольшие, но в них есть все необходимое: отличный набор хорошей посуды, утюг, гладильная доска, фен и проч. Кондиционер установлен в нужном месте, отлично работает и не дует на кровать. Все свежее, глаз радуется. И Кенни, встречавший нас, прекрасен.

Был бы бассейн на крыше потеплее, им можно было бы полноценно пользоваться, а так он просто для красоты
