Shanghai Hongqiao Heyitang Hotel Beixinjing Subway Station Branch

Amazing hotel, we were a family of five with a one year old baby. The family deluxe room was spacious and cleaned daily by fantastic the housekeeping staff. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere but attentive and thoughtful staff. The laundry service was very quick we often had our clothes back the same day. We didn’t use public transport but the metro is just a short walk and there are plenty of food and drink options walking distance from the hotel. The airport shuttle was very reliable. We can’t wait to go back Shanghai has an abundance of hotels but we are very pleased we chose this hotel!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the location was very convenient, especially being close to Hongqiao transportation hub and the subway. The breakfast had a good variety of choices, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The highlight of my stay was the excellent service from the staff, especially Xiaoxiao. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. Her kindness and attention to detail made my stay even more enjoyable. Thank you, Xiaoxiao, for your outstanding hospitality!

If I had to mention one thing, it would be nice if there were a few more international TV channels or dining options nearby. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

The accommodation was very clean. The staff was very friendly, especially the manager. Extra bonus points for the free airport transfer at 5:30 in the morning. I’m giving it five stars for the hospitality of the manager, the airport shuttle that was free , everything was very clean and a less than five minute walk from the metro station. . Anything else was very minor issues.

The restaurant is more geared towards an Asian menu. I went in for dinner and it was buffet only with Asian food. There was no signs in English telling me what each serving was. With that, I left and went somewhere else. That’s not a dealbreaker. The food looked delicious, but it was a bit too Asian for me. The Wi-Fi was a bit tricky. It seemed you had to sign up for something with your email and phone number to receive it. I could be wrong, but that was my experience and I was too tired to keep trying other methods. The TV was also from what I saw all Asian shows. I did not follow up and go through each and every channel looking for English speaking shows.

1) Airport pick up was badly organised, too many passengers in the one vehicle and communication poor such that I removed my bags and took the Maglev train and then taxi to the hotel. No attempt to make good the inconvenience & cost incurred. 2) room’s wall had bad watermarks 3) terrace area was littered with plastic covers, empty water bottles & used ashtray. No cleaner was sent to immediately clean.
