    When I first arrived at A.T. House, it felt like it was a normal 3 star hotel. ie. not much facilities, no frills, clean, basic amenities etc. I booked this hotel for 6 nights, so I was really wondering if I should have chosen a different place. However, as we stayed on, a few things started to look really positive. 1. Daily supper - Every day from 9.30-11pm, you are welcome to help yourself to freshly cooked noodle soup with beef wantons, pan fried dumplings, porridge, soft drinks, coffee and tea. Even though the 'menu' is the same everyday, I enjoyed this perk because so many restaurants are closed by 8pm and there are no eateries beside the hotel. 2. Location - A.T.House doesn't have any shops and eateries in its immediate vicinity. The nearest convenience store and shopping mall is also walk away. About 1km away, at Tianyaoqiao Road, there are many mid-range eateries and locals frequent the area. It is a lot more vibrant then the shopping malls. 3. Metro lines: Other reviews have mentioned that Line 1 is near by, but it's just the Exit 1 to Line 1. The actual station is 10 min walk from the Line 1 entrance. I don't recommend walking through the underpass unless the weather is bad; it's boring and there are no shops there. BUT, the important thing is that Line 1 is amazing. It brings you close to so many nice shopping areas - huaihai road, anfu road, wukang road, xintiandi, former mr zhang residence, etc. We initially went everywhere by taxi and we would get stuck in a jam all the time, but after finding out how good Line 1 is, we would take the metro when going into or coming back from Shanghai's popular areas. 4. Service staff: They are generally friendly but they don't speak english at all. 5. Rooms: The rooms are nice and comfortable. There are free snacks and tea everyday. Shower pressure is amazing. You can ask for a mini fridge and handheld garment steamer. There is no safe to store valuables. All in all, A.T. House is good value for money and I would consider staying there again.

    Hotel was great, we really enjoyed our stay and the staff were extremely accomodating and wonderful. However the hotel building only has 2 lifts for 25 floors which meant we were often waiting a long time for the lift.

    Amenities and location were great, but they lost my parcels with totally no follow up. stayed with them for 2 nights before travelling around china, then went back for a final night. They were unable to locate my parcels, which were definitely delivered because I explicitly stated that I wanted the front desk to sign off. Followed up on wechat after I left, as they instructed me to, and they didn't follow up at all. Shows an absolute lack of service. For this price consider staying at another hotel.
