Acro Caldo Suites

Amazing, simply amazing – we absolutely loved our stay! This was our first time here, but definitely not our last. AcroCaldo Luxury Suites exceeded all our expectations. Andrew and his family are wonderful hosts. They made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. Thank you for your kindness, the excellent recommendations, the delicious breakfast, and the unforgettable time we spent with you. Calling it magical would almost be an understatement. I travel frequently and stay in many different accommodations, and I can confidently say that AcroCaldo Luxury Suites maintains exceptionally high standards. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santorini. We stayed for 7 days, and everything was outstanding. The suite is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and maintained to the highest level. The sea view from the apartment is absolutely breathtaking, and waking up to it every morning was a true pleasure. Each day began with a wonderful breakfast served with a spectacular view of the sea, making our mornings even more special. The hot tub was fantastic—clean, well-maintained, and always warm. There is also a large parking area with plenty of available spaces. The suites are located in a peaceful and quiet area, offering complete privacy and relaxation throughout the day. Most of Santorini’s beaches are nearby and easily accessible. We truly rested, relaxed, and enjoyed every moment of our stay, and for that reason, we will definitely be coming back. Eine sehr komfortable, hochwertig ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mit privatem Whirlpool. Alles in dem Apartment hat eine tolle Qualität mit Liebe zum Detail. Auch der Hausherr macht da keine Ausnahme und kümmert sich sehr liebevoll und aufmerksam um seine Gäste. Höchste Empfehlung. Auch die Anbindung an Strand, Supermärkte, Restaurants, Flughafen, etc. ist perfekt.

Das einzige kleine Manko ist die Lage an einer relativ befahrenen Straße. Es gibt auch Apartments nach hinten raus. Die sind dann ruhiger aber haben weniger Sonne. Also ich würde über die Autos hinweg gucken und lieber die Sonne bevorzugen.

We had such a lovely stay here—perfect if you want to experience Santorini beyond the typical social media hotspots. The location is peaceful, full of character, and set in a more authentic, historic part of the island. We hired a car and found everything was easily accessible, yet far enough away to feel calm and relaxed. The village itself has everything you need, including one of the best restaurants we visited during our trip—Theofanis—which honestly stood out even compared to places in Oia and Fira. The apartments were modern, spotless, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Andreas was an exceptional host—friendly, helpful, and always available. Nothing was too much trouble, and his English was great, which made it easy to get recommendations for local spots. If you stay here, you’re also just a 6-minute drive (or a 30-minute walk) from Santorini Animal Welfare Association. They do incredible work rescuing animals—it’s really worth visiting or donating if you can. They currently have many dogs, including puppies, looking for homes. We’re already talking about coming back in September, which says it all about how much we enjoyed our stay. A couple of small tips: Santorini does tend to have more flies than some other Greek islands. Also, bring an eye mask and earplugs—like many places now, there are small lights from safety features (such as fire exits or carbon monoxide detectors), which can make the rooms less dark at night. Breakfast was great, and Andreas is happy to tailor it if you’d like something specific. There’s also a nice coffee shop nearby called Be2in, and a lovely spot for homemade cakes and sorbet called Frozen Nest. Overall, a fantastic stay—we’d highly recommend it! —Couple in our mid-30s from England
