We travelled as two adults with our three-year-old child, and we couldn’t have wished for a better experience when it came to the hospitality. The staff were absolutely incredible – so friendly, warm and caring. From the very moment we arrived, we felt right at home. We have never experienced such exceptional and personal service anywhere else. The staff went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed and made our stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. As our flight on the last day wasn’t until late in the evening, the hotel kindly provided us with a room where we could spend the day and keep our belongings. This thoughtful gesture meant that we could enjoy Santorini right up until the very last moment, which we appreciated immensely. The view over the caldera is absolutely breathtaking! I highly recommend booking a room with a caldera view – it truly makes the experience even more special. There are also several excellent restaurants nearby, which was very convenient. The pool was lovely as well and perfect for adults looking to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. A wonderful hotel with exceptional staff, breathtaking views and a level of service that truly makes all the difference. We will remember our stay fondly and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Santorini!

Unfortunately, the breakfast did not live up to the otherwise high standards of the hotel. Both the presentation and the selection of juices, coffee and tea left quite a bit of room for improvement. At a five-star hotel, one expects a breakfast experience of the highest quality, especially when the rest of the hotel maintains such a high standard. This is certainly an area where a few improvements could make a real difference!

Everything about the hotel was great. The view is spectacular as it’s on the caldera and it’s not as busy so it was very relaxing. We had an upgrade to our room since we are on our honeymoon which made our accommodation exceptional. We loved the food at the restaurant, the amazing team especially Sofia at the reception and Maria at the restaurant, they were always so friendly, supportive and smiling and made us feel at home as did all of the team. We would definitely love to come again.

Modern, clean, well maintained, excellent location

It was clean and the staff were wonderful. The view of the ocean was beautiful.

The location was not good for us. You can’t walk anywhere, there are no beaches close by, you have to rent a car (which we did) or get a taxi anywhere you want to go. The resort itself is unimpressive and small. Our suite was big but bare although it was the honeymoon suite and it did have a private little pool with beautiful view of the ocean. The room was sitting on top of a road, which is a major throughway in Santorini so it was hard to get a picture without a car in it. The food in the restaurant was average and breakfast was also average. I wouldn’t stay there again mostly because of the location and the fact that for a little more or even the same price, there are beautiful resorts in walkable places such as Oia or Thera. In fact, we were supposed to be there for 5 night but we decided to move after 2 nights to another much better resort in Oia, Andronis Arcadia, which was much more expensive but incomparable in quality and location. Also, the management of Acroterra refused to refund us for the 3 nights remaining, which was disappointing but did not influence this review.
