We loved how close to the pool the apartment was. It was clean, modern and had air conditioning. Staff were nice, close to the shop and only 10 mins walk to the beach!
The couch and bed were not the most comfortable. The bed was hard and the couch although fold out was very metal and unkind to the lower back!

-Just 15 minutes from the airport and only €30 in a taxi (make sure you state Ponderesa Hotel and not the address given as that’s down the road)
-We were slightly worried on check in due to the state of reception and the building but these apartments are separate to the main building, with their own pool
-Beautiful apartment - decorated to a very high standard and had everything we needed for a short stay for 3 friends
-It was a proper sofa bed so very comfortable and the main bed was comfy too
-Pool area was nice with very few people around and always a sunbed
-Great location with a supermarket nearby and 5 minute walk from the seafront and bars and restaurants
-Would recommend!
-Reception and the main building are in an awful state. It was not clear this apartment was within a hotel/complex. It seems the main building has older apartments, and this one is in a different section which is being updated.
-Construction work happening within the main building all day. Construction mess everywhere. Not safe for kids.
-Apartment missed key information such as WiFi codes etc, a welcome book would be helpful.
-No door between the bedroom and living room - no issue for us but could be for some of using the sofabed
-The bar below plays loud music, kareoke and bingo throughout the day so hard to relax by the pool (didn’t come away to listen to a scouse guy call numbers at 3pm).
-The pool area could do with some parasols as it’s a real sun trap
-The pool could do with a daily clean
-Reception staff although helpful just looked like random people in their own clothes; no uniform or sense of professionalism
-Cleaning staff had attitude when our late checkout wasn’t communicated to them
