A simple hotel if you just need to take a shower and sleep. The room was very small, but clean. The mattresses were great and soft, and the TV was great.
The downside is that the room is very small for three people.

i didnt have breckfast and had to leave key in the letterbox of the inn as taxi waited few min with me was gonna miss bus

The Shamrock Inn is located very near to Cork Train Station, so don't get a taxi. There is a takeaway near it too so getting dinner is easy. There is also a tourist red bus stop close by if you want to do the tour of the city.
The bathroom was very small and I kept hitting my elbow off the door frame. There was no radiator to dry my towels after a shower and there was no furniture other than the bed. If I had wanted to watch TV I couldn't have because the lead wasn't long enough to reach the socket. I was disturbed by my neighbours during my final night but the Shamrock Inn doesn't appear to have a quiet hours policy.
