Memnon Apartments

We felt that we had stumbled on real Egypt in this charming, tucked away property. It was an easy taxi ride anywhere, and right on the Nile, but was unspoiled and peaceful. It was very spacious and the pool was fabulous after our outings. Delightful local restaurants and shops nearby, but fun to self- cater as well. Our hosts were charming and looked after us so well. It was excellent value for money.

We did not have any complaints or concerns.

Loved our stay, the apartment was very clean and spacious. Pool and roof top terrace were lovely to use. The staff were very polite, attentive and communicative - helped us booked tours to the valley of the kings / Karnak at a price that was far better than outside providers. The location is near the ferry to get to the West Bank which is good if you are walking around the city on foot.

Think the only thing we didn’t have was breakfast / but we were out most of the time anyway.

Abdu greeted us at the ferry stop and brought us to the property. He also organised guided tours for our group which were excellent! Would highly recommend.

The location is perfect, around the corner from many restaurants, bars and little convenient stores. The Nile is right there, close to the ferry pick up to go to the east bank. Everything was marvelous. Abdu helped us arrange bicycles (they were in good condition), and transport for the next leg of out trip. Will higly recommend Memmon Aprartments for any type of traveller.
