Conveniently situated on Luxor’s peaceful West Bank, Memnon Apartments, Luxor, offer the ideal retreat for couples, solo travellers, and families alike. Whether you're drawn to Luxor for its year-round sunshine or the awe-inspiring ancient sites, our property provides the perfect base, just moments from the Nile in a welcoming neighbourhood with the local ferry, shops and restaurants all within a short walk. Long-standing 'Guest Favourites' on Airbnb, we are always happy to offer guests advice and support: we want you to enjoy your stay.
Memnon Apartments comprise three very spacious (140 square metres), high-ceilinged two-bedroom apartments (one on each floor), each featuring a fully equipped kitchen; living room with television; dining area; master bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom; twin bedroom; and main bathroom with bath and shower. The apartment featured here is on the ground floor.
The apartments are suited to up to four adults or a family of four, but if you have three children, we can arrange for an extra bed. Each spotlessly clean apartment is self-contained, offering guests plenty of privacy.
You'll also have use of the outdoor pool and its sun loungers and parasols - ideal for cooling off after a day of exploring. Or you can unwind on our stunning rooftop terrace, offering breath-taking views of the Nile - looking across the river to Luxor Temple and the old Winter Palace Hotel in one direction, and towards lush Egyptian countryside and the Theban Hills in the other.
Memnon Apartments are in a prime location: not only are the historic sites of West Bank Luxor - such as the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Ramesseum and the Colossi of Memnon - all within easy reach, there are also several good restaurants close by, and the local shops are similarly just a 5-10 minute walk away. West Bank Luxor, with its safe, village-like atmosphere, is much quieter than the bustling east side, but also very convenient for sightseeing.
We're just a few minutes' walk from the ferry from the East Bank and we have set up a Google pin to help you locate us. If you let us know your arrival time, someone will be there to greet you or we can arrange for someone to meet you off the ferry with a ‘Memnon Apartments’ sign. Flying in? We can arrange airport pick-up for an additional fee.
Your booking will be managed by Clare, based in the UK, who will answer any questions before your stay. On arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed by Abdu, the owner and a Luxor local, dedicated to ensuring you have a fantastic experience. He speaks excellent English and is always happy to assist with tours, trips, drivers, bicycle hire, local recommendations and anything else you may need.
Cleaning, linen, towels and utilities are all included in your stay. We take pride in keeping the apartments clean, and either Abdu or his assistant, Said, visit the property daily to make sure everything is in order.
