Close to the Terminal, very friendly Staff. Good Facility and parking. Possible to have the dog and that’s very important.

The only thing is the Noise from the Cars and Lorry the whole Night. In the Summer with the window open it’s nearly impossible to sleep. It’s a real shame.

We stayed in the large ground floor suite. It was roomy and very comfortable. It was right next to the ferry port which suited us for our early morning ferry crossing.

There was some traffic noise which is to be expected as it right next to the port entrance.

Location perfect for our needs

Hall carpet worn and dirty. Bedroom door needed a coat of paint

The room was clean and well equipped, very generous with snacks, drinks and facilities. Nice hot shower. Very welcoming owner. Handy for the port and eateries nearby (although mainly fast-food outlets in a pretty grubby purpose built square near the cinema).

It was like walking onto the set of Rising Damp! The reception and staircases are grubby, shabby and dark. This made a really poor first impression. And the noise of the lorries arriving at the port literally all night, so no sleep the night before a long journey - OMG! This hotel is in a beautiful building and a tin of paint and some new stair carpet, along with double glazing to the front, would really make this place a better experience.
