Almarìa - Le case del Castello - San Nicola L'Arena - Trabia

The apartment was modern, stylish, spacious and airy as well as comfortable in a great location, less than 10 min to the local train station from which you can catch a train for a trip to Palermo or Cefalu as well as directly to the airport (if using a train, I would recommend downloading Trenitalia app to your phone to buy your tickets in advance - ticket conductors were on every train we took). A local sandy beach was 10-15 min walk at leisurely pace 🤩🌟🤩🌟 A small supermarket, fruit & veg shop, a bakery - just a stone thrown from the property. In addition, a great pizza place and a seafood restaurant (fishmonger by day, seafood restaurant by night - it doesn’t get any fresher) and the best gelato place less than 5 min walk from the property. Everything is very conveniently located within an easy reach after a ‘busy’ day on the beach or day tripping elsewhere.

Die Lage ist super! Der Blick in den Hafen ist einfach wahnsinnig schön. San Nicola als solches ist gut angebunden, verfügt über alle nötigen Läden (2 Supermärkte, in der Nebensaison 1 Bäcker, Restaurants, 2 Bars, 2 Eisdielen, Gemüseladen, …) Wir fanden auch den Einrichtungsstil und die Liebe zum Detail (z.B. Küche in einen alten Schrank eingebaut) toll. Der Favorit: Kissen, mit verschiedenen Härte-/Höhegraden und falls es im Herbst schon zu frisch geworden wäre, wäre auch eine richtige Decke im Raum gewesen. Kurzum eine wirklich tolle Unterkunft für einen kürzeren Aufenthalt. Wir waren 2 Wochen da, weil wir uns gegen eine Rundreise entschieden hatten. Dafür ist das Apartment nicht ausgelegt, aber wir konnten uns gut arrangieren.

Jammern auf hohem Niveau, aber uns fehlten: - großer Spiegel außerhalb vom Bad - ein Feuerzeug für die Kerzen im Apartment - die Internetbandbreite reichte nicht wirklich für einen Stream - da wie länger da waren, wäre eine Spülmaschine premium gewesen. Die kleine Küche im Schrank war aber überraschend gut ausgestattet. :)

The apartment is spacious, modern and offers a beautiful view of the port. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance, and the train station is just a 5‑minute walk away. The free parking behind the gate was also a big advantage, as we didn’t have to worry about the car.

There is an issue with the drainage. Water is standing in the sink both in the kitchen and the bathroom. It drains very slowly, and because of that there is an unpleasant smell. There were no bin bags provided - just one for the whole week, which was not enough. There was only one sponge in the kitchen and one sponge cloth, so we had to use the same cloth for wiping the table, the countertops and everything else. In the bathroom there were no cleaning cloths at all, so it wasn’t possible to wipe the sink or clean the surfaces. For a week‑long stay this was quite inconvenient. There was also no wine bottle opener.

Vista meravigliosa a tutte le ore del giorno. I colori e lo stile degli interni trasmettono un senso di ordine, pulizia e lusso. Posizione perfetta, soprattutto per il parcheggio privato. Gli ambienti super profumati e freschi. Bellissima
