Rosebank Gem - Self-Catering

The place is super clean. Inside the apartment itself and out. It is exactly as advertised and there were no weird or funny surprises. The host is super responsive and gave clear simple check in instructions. The check in, in itself was super simple. Reception is friendly and so are the guards. The whole biometric access adds another layer of security on top of the cameras all throughout the complex and the fact that there are only 2 entry points. Not sure if the walls are soundproof but I did not hear a peep throughout my stay. Housekeeping is so easy to arrange, and things like sugar, milk and coffee are also refilled on every clean. Utensils are clean and ample. Lots of charging outlets which is a bonus. The iron was not working when I checked in and that was immediately replaced the next day, with no hassles. I would be lying if I said there was anything horrible about the place. Definitely staying here again when I'm in the city. It is well run.

There are no shelves in the wardrobe to put your folded clothes in, which is a massive oversight on their part. I was there for 11 nights so I had to get my clothes from my suitcase daily which is not ideal. The only other thing would be housekeeping. Perfect as she is, she just takes a bit too long to get everything done. I left the keys at reception at 11 and by the time I got back from my meetings at 3, she was still finishing up. For me that's a bit too long to get everything done.

TV was strangely placed in a separate room which had only a very small couch - weird layout which wasn’t great.
