Channel View Apartments

Light, airy and perfectly positioned to discover Deal especially if you’re into cycling, running, swimming etc. A little bit dated but very good value for money and overall neat and clean. As a female solo traveller I felt perfectly safe.

The property is very clean, comfortable and well located.

The only problem was that the shower was over the bath, and no grip rails. This wouldn’t be a problem for most people, but I have mobility issues, and when booking the photos showed a walk in shower. After booking I was sent photos which showed that the booking.com photos were of their apartments generally, and showed that Channel View didn’t in fact have a walk in shower. However, this wouldn’t be an issue for most people, and the apartment itself was lovely.

This apartment is in a prime location overlooking the castle with views of the beach. It is a 2 minute walk into town or the beach. Being on 2 floors it is spacious with 2 great sized bedrooms and a hidden ensuite upstairs. Bathroom and kitchen/ diner/ sitting room downstairs. It is comfortable, spacious and has all you need for a few nights stay.

We had a problem with the sink in the kitchen which could not drain so we couldn't use the sink or dishwasher for almost 2 days- it was a bank holiday. It got sorted but was the type of issue that should have been noticed before- between occupants. It was completely blocked with a cement type product.

De woonruimte was niet erg schoon: tussen de kussens van de bank, plakkerig servies en bestek in een niet schone kast, vieze pannen, vaatwasser bovenste rek kapot met bonkend geluid tijdens het programma.
