The Poros Villa

La maison était totalement adaptée à nos attentes. C'est une maison familiale, pas une maison seulement pour le tourisme. Si bien qu'on s'y sent vraiment comme des invités, dans un endroit qui a une âme, une histoire. C'est très agréable. D'un point de vue pratique, la maison est très bien équipée. Immense cuisine très équipée où la grande table peut servir aussi à jouer ou discuter aux heures les plus chaudes (clim' dans la cuisine). Salon avec vue charmante pour lire sur les canapés. Les chambres sont à l'étage du dessous par un grand escalier (la maison est à flanc de colline comme toute la ville). Les chambres sont particulièrement fraîches (clim et fraîcheur car plus à l'ombre). C'est bien pour la nuit. Deux salles de bain en bas, ce qui facilite la cohabitation à plusieurs. La terrasse est très spacieuse, avec plusieurs espaces. La vue sur la baie d'Askeli très jolie et on entend les cérémonies de lever et descente du drapeau dans l'école navale ! La piscine est particulièrement bien, grande, bien entretenue. Les martinets viennent s'y abreuver. La végétation méditerranéenne, le chant des cigales... L'emplacement nous convenait bien. C'est à l'arrière de la ville de Poros. A mi-chemin entre le centre-ville et les premières plages. C'est pratique pour les courses (supermarket pas loin), et pour aller se baigner à pied (on n'a pas loué de voiture, on a fait les ballades à pied ou en bateau). La maison reçoit la visite des deux chats et éventuellement du chien de la famille. Pour notre part nous avons beaucoup aimé leurs visites.

Cela n'était pas un problème pour nous, mais il ne faut pas avoir de problème de mobilité. Pas de mal de marches entre les deux étages.

The most beautiful outdoor space, with stunning sea views in a super location. House has been passed down through the generations and is packed with antiquities.

Nothing Would note, however, that there are a lot of steps, so may not suit someone with accessibility issues.

The villa is incredible. Really stunning design throughout the house. The pictures don’t do it justice. Gorgeous views, so much amenities. Great to have so many bathrooms and a massive kitchen. The villa has everything you need if you decide to stay in and cook. The pool outside area is perfect for relaxing and socialising. As a group it was perfect on the days we wanted to chill. The location was great for us, but note if you are heading to town for meals/drinks it is a 10-15 mins walk, however we enjoyed each evening. Supermarket is less than 10 mins and a small shop less than five.

We were a group of 7 but the hosts only prepared for 6 guests initially. However once we spoke with them, the hosts rectified this. We were told about aspects of staying there when we checked in with a tour from the host but might be worth having a booklet of the information like WiFi, bins and recycling, we would find this very helpful . Or might be good to send a message in advance with all the details of check in and stay.

The house was extraordinary. The size of the house and the size of the pool and outside areas was super. It is so nice to stay in a house that is not stripped from all interior, and it felt almost as home. This was a house I gladly could live in permanently. It is only five minutes walk to a small beach and to the center of Poros town with lots of restaurants and shops. Poros was much more lively than google maps gave the impression of. We loved everything. The hosts were very helpful with everything as they lived next door.

That we had to leave 😭. If anything, the house may not be perfect for families with small children or disabled persons, because of many stairs both inside and outside.
