Me Vadsana Homestay

Nice location and a clean house with balcony and comfortable bed.

The bathroom is very inconveniently located on the ground floor (shared with hair salon) and the stair steps are very small and dangerous.

The location was great if you want to walk to shops and the food market; there was a fair on during our one-night stay so it was very lively! Once that ended it was very peaceful. The host who came from the hotel Me Vadsana was very kind and helpful (no host on site once the shop closed: see below for more). We rented both rooms available and were pleased there were screens on the doors and windows. We also enjoyed the seating area outside our rooms and in the carport. If you want to stay in an authentic Thai house and don't mind steep stairs then this may be the place for you! One unique feature was there was a hairdresser shop below the rooms which you walked through to access your rooms. The beds were Thai firm and the pillows were nice and soft. Overall a great place to stay for the night on our way to Chiang Rai by motorbike.

Breakfast was ok, nothing standing out. As to venue, we selected the homestay, however on arrival and given another option of the main building, we chose to move there. This was a good decision and provided basic, comfortable accommodation.

As there was no sign indicating the homestay, it took a while to find someone to help. But from then we were given information and options. It was fortunate that we arrived in daylight and early enough to find someone to talk to.
