Good Life Dacha Riverside & Parkside Retreat

The Dacha is an eclectic artsy property in the heart of Pai but on a stream and Pai River so you feel nature there. It is bordered by fields and trees and is across the street from Bodhi Tree community park. I enjoyed all the children playing there. Saturday market is a fun gathering at the park. Great people watching. Seems like a place where travelers can easily interact with the local community. Excellent library to browse or trade books. The furniture is artful, especially the big stone tables. There are many different seating areas to suit. The owners are friendly and present onsite. As a solo, older traveler I appreciated the owner asking me about my stay and comfort. The food was good and reasonably priced. There are saunas and cold baths onsite for a diy spa day.

The sauna was lovely and the attention and service that the owners provided was exceptional.

Vibes are the best in Pai. Great staff, food, kombucha and music. Couldn't try the sauna and the breathing course but I heard both are a must. Would book again.

Dorms are next to the restaurant, one can hear everything in the night and early in the morning. Toilet is shared with clients.

The location is really nice. Especially for saturday markets. Also close to great coffee and bakery! The owners are nice just too busy running the restaurant as-well.

I was not shown where the showers were. It was a saturday when i arrived, so very busy but i was barely shown around. The fitted sheet on my bed needed replacing, bobbly and rough. This is priced too high. I moved to another cheaper hostel with a pool and much better service. I just felt like money in their pocket a this hostel. The sauna is 100baht and ice bath which was merky is 100baht. The shower i eventually did find was dirty and had no privacy. Also, little social atmosphere seperate from the restaurant.
