Old Town Sea View Apartment

Very clean apartment,2 separated bedrooms, fantastic view to the port and whole Kavala from the balcony. Well furnished,kitchen also,although we did not cook there. Has washing machine, which was useful and we used it once. The manager Despoina and also Mr George were both very kind and helpful. George even helped with our luggage, because this apartment is in old city, where the streets are cobbled and narrkw and steep, we could not come close to the apartment, but jad to walk uphill at least 200 meters, with all the stuff we had. George also went with my husband to show him parking place. Next morning we found a bix of local sweets-kourabiedes, on our door knob, as a kind gift from our hosts. All in all, very nice apartment and very kind staff.

Problem with parking and also lot of walking uphill and downhill on the cobbled streets! Although it is nice experience of life in the heart of an old city, we are both 70+ with some walking problems, so this was a bit too much for us. This has nothing to do with the quality of apartment,it is our health problem and for younger people or in better health condition, it should not be a problem! In any case, we chose this apartment on Booking.com as their suggestion because our first choice apartment, for which we paid full amount and booked 4 months ago, cancelled the reservation less than 24 hours before we came! So, the Old Town Sea View apartment was a last minute choice and we did not regret it at all, despite our walking pain!

Super nice and helpful host. The facility is at a perfect location at the beginning of the Old Town. The apartment is very bright, comfortable and with amazing views.
