Villa del Rey

The pool was a lovely size. The villa had everything you need. Nice and local.

A few minor things, tired furnishings in arears, water going off (was sorted rather quick). Overall a wonderful stay.

We thought the villa was amazing. Large outdoor area. Sunbed cushions were great, got the sun all day. Nice table outside. Heated pool was lovely. There were even floats. The welcome food was a lovely touch. Inside: we were only ever inside to sleep but the beds were comfy, plenty of pillows. Hot water when we needed it. We would absolutely come back. It is a 15-20 minute walk down to the main restaurant area but it’s a lit route along a lovely path. We enjoyed the walk. Lidl was about 20 minutes also.

Big pool with privacy compared to other villas, plenty of towels , good sized rooms . Nice shaded area for sitting outdoors . Aircon in the living room and master bedroom only(master a/c could do with a good clean) but it was ok. Washing machine was a bonus . Excellent beach towels . Plenty of wardrobe space . Welcome pack was a nice bonus .

Upon arrival we found ants however instead of complaining we just made sure we cleaned and left no food out , the welcome pack was the ants choice of food source and we sprayed using the spray provided. The villa could do with a little TLC , new fans are needed to replace the broken ones. One of the headboards had fallen from the wall prior to check in so we mended it , the back door lock was hanging off so we fixed that . Not big things just maintenance required but I wasn’t going to call the owners when it was just a simple screw needed screwing back in the wall. Nothing spoiled our holiday , we had a fantastic time .
