La Corticina - Rooms & Suite - Firenze

The rooms are modern and renovated. The staff was very nice and allowed us to check in earlier (highly appreciated).

As we booked quite last minute we were given a room at the bottom where you unfortunately can hear people walking to the shared kitchen and in the room above, so maybe better to ask for a room above. The place is actually quite far from the center (around 30 min walking through not so pleasant streets). We were a bit surprised that upon the arrival we were asked to sign a contract that reminded a little bit a long term rent, didn't even have time to read it through and in general I find it super unnecesary (especially for just a one night stay). Apart from the contract I was also asked for a credit card (specifically credit, not debit) for the deposit. I found it super cliche and no one does it anymore so I was surprised a little bit in a modern place like this. If I remember correctly there were also no international TV channels, just italian.

El anfitrion y el dueño son super amables y accesibles, estan muy lindos decorados, te dejan en el area común cortesias y son muy accesibles, el mejor lugar que llegamos en este viaje por Italia

Lejos del tren, pero en general el transporte puede ser en camion y al rededor hay poco que hacer, pero es tranquilo el barrio.
