Apartment of character

"This is a very special apartment indeed. The rooms are vast, the ceilings high and the walls are dotted with some marvellous modern paintings. It is beautifully quiet and yet within walking distance there are so many unpretentious but excellent restaurants that you could eat in a different one every day for three months and still not discover them all. The uncrowded beaches with magnificently clear seawater are only a short stroll away. I'm not one to return anywhere as there's always somewhere new to find. But, this time, I plan to return."

"We had the feeling, once we got there that we were one of the first people to rent this lovely flat. It feels so new and well kept. It's a tremendous appartment, well located in what we call in Spanish "El Barrio" area (Old part of Alicante). It is so well decorated!!!. The choice of soft colours made us feel really "at home"... The equipment is pretty well chosen... Good job that this owner let us chare his belongings, as it's just the right place to be. It was fairly hot there, but we knew what we wanted after such a tough winter. Having a serious look at guides, it seems that high temperatures, there, seem to last very long (According to what we heard, up to December, you can reach 25°) The flat is about 5mn walk from the main beach, and there are plenty of things to visit around. Alicante itself is a pretty rich city, in an architecture way, and the surroundings (Mountains, sea, valleys...)combine such variations of views, that you seem to miss time to discover it all. Therefore, we are planning an other fortnight there very shortly... (We'd better book early before this flat gets too well known...) We were between friends, there, but it is the right choice for a family of 4 or 5. Do not miss it. A good oppotunity at fair prices... "
