About this cabin rental
Your cozy getaway awaits in China Spring at this sweet little cabin. This lovely retreat features 1 Cariloha king bed in the bedroom, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, & essential amenities like heating, WiFi, & AC. Nestled in a serene setting, this cabin offers the perfect escape for guests looking to unwind & relax. The Scottish Highlands cabin is located in the middle of China Spring, Texas.
It rests on a 40-acre full-functioning Scottish Highland Cattle & Chicken farm. It is just a 15-minute drive from downtown Waco & The Magnolia Silos. The cabin is located directly above the property barn. It is 460 square feet inside, with a 10x12 covered outdoor patio & couch with a beautiful scenic overview of the back pasture.
Below the outdoor patio is a secondary porch where you’ll find a grill to cookout & another place to sit while you watch the cows graze & the chickens forage & can even feed the cows some range cubes & the chickens some scratch, upon request! This property is also conveniently situated adjacent to a publicly accessible track maintained by the local school district. Open 24/7 and fully enclosed by fencing, the track offers a secure and welcoming environment for early-morning fitness enthusiasts and evening walkers alike. Located just a 2-minute drive or a 5-minute walk from the property, it provides an excellent nearby option for outdoor exercise and recreation. We are also located just 10 minutes from multiple access points to the scenic Lake Waco, where you can enjoy a day of fishing, sunbathing, or relaxing with a picnic in the park. My husband and I stayed here for a few nights during Silobration in Waco, TX. The space was cozy, clean, and felt just like home! The hosts were so welcoming and made us feel right at home right away! Sabrena & Aaron were easy to contact and clearly communicated recommendations for local attractions & places to eat, as well as check in & check out policies! The farm fresh eggs from the hens were a treat & absolutely delicious! We would absolutely stay here again next time we are in town! :) I can’t say enough good things about this place, 100% book your stay here, you won’t be disappointed!

This is a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of the big city. The Highland cows were a delight. The location is scenic and relaxing. The hosts were awesome, very welcoming, helpful, and happy to share their farm family. I highly recommend this site.
