I have stayed in many hotels and hostels in many countries - this hotel has all the right things I am looking for at that unbelievably low price. I was so happy with my stay. My room was modest, but clean and quiet. Not so many tourists during my visit. I don't mind the stairs; I see it as exercise. I skipped the free breakfast on the 1st day because of the bad reviews I read, but when I tried it on the 2nd day, it was a simple and good banh mi breakfast. I loved the pool, not a lap pool, but decent for short laps. I may be lucky that I always had the pool to myself during the times I swam. I learned that they have longer stays, like residents; I thought to myself that I would stay here longer on the next HCMC trip.

Great hotel to stay in and very friendly staff , just don’t expect to see any English signs in the whole area , can be daunting for some !

I found out about a discount deal and decided to try it during holidays. I booked a room with a pool view, but guess what? I ended up with a tiny room that had no pool view at all. Also, don’t expect much if you’re vegetarian. The hotel served a kind of banh mi that made locals like me feel ‘urg’.
