About this house rental
Unit 45 has amazing views of the pool court yard and the gulf. This unit is a two story unit with the living dining room kitchen and half bath on the first floor. The second floor has the master and guest room with on suite bathrooms for each room. A short 75 yard walk to beach through a manicured courtyard and you will be playing in the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico! Centrally located to the pool, game room, coin laundry, and BBQ grills. This unit has incredible views of the entire property and has a washer dyer. Beach Service – If you didn’t pre-reserve beach chairs, just stop by the beach hut or call the Excel team at In addition to chairs and umbrellas, Excel offers kayaks and paddle boards for rent, as well as an assortment of snacks and drinks.
Tennis, Basketball, Pickleball, and Shuffleboard – Forget your gear? No worries, you can check out rackets, balls, and more at the front desk at no charge!
Grilling Out – In the busy months of spring and summer, many families opt to grill out rather than go out. We have eight charcoal grills available. There are several seafood markets nearby, including Blalock’s which is just a block to the west (p.s., their tuna dip is a must try!).
Fitness Center – Did you know we have a fitness center in the Penthouse building? Just stop by the front desk to borrow the key.
Family Activities – There’s always something fun on the itinerary at Silver Dunes:
• Annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Courtyard – Easter Sunday, 9 am in the courtyard
• Scavenger Hunts – Throughout the Spring – for children of all ages! Just stop by the office to pick up your scavenger hunt necessities. Once you’ve collected everything, stop back by the office to pick a surprise from the Silver Dunes treasure chest!
• Movies in the Courtyard – Bring a picnic blanket, your beach chairs, and join us on Mondays at dusk throughout June and July. We show a different family-friendly movie each week.
• S’mores Nights with Live Music at the Pool –Wednesday nights are awesome at Silver Dunes! Throughout June and July, the firepits will be out, s’mores roasting, and tunes playing!

I have never stayed here before. When we first walked in we checked all the rooms out and then we wanted to walk out on the balcony I reached and pulled the sliding glass door handle and it fell off into my hand. I couldn’t shut the door so the Office was closed. I called security and told them about it they told me they would send someone down first thing in the morning but they never came. I went down to the office the next day and reported it and they said they knew nothing about it. The maintenance guy did come and fix it partially it had paper stuck up in it and was halfway fixed,We didn’t use the door any while we were staying there because I was afraid it would fall off again. The walk to the beach was a little further than what I like but the pool was very nice and the landscaping was very pretty around the condo. The living room was very large and spacious and was nice and the kitchen was very nice. The air condition worked very well downstairs but It never got very cool upstairs where the bedroom were.It was a nice condo but a little out of date for the money I paid for the stay there I would probably recommend staying somewhere else.
