The beachfront view and scenery was really lovely. Excellent location and very peaceful.

Parking is free but is on a car park 80m from the property across a bridge and walk along a path. No mention of this on booking site. The booking site said free Wi-Fi throughout property. There was no Wi-Fi. Upon arrival the first instruction from the tatty guest information booklet (which is also full of outdated Covid restrictions )was to take an electric meter reading and then one when we left and we had to pay for the units used. (37p per unit and 25p per day standing charge ) For 3 nights we used £6.55. There was no mention of this on the booking site. On holiday ,I do not want or expect to be taking meter readings. Either price the stay to cover it or tell the guest upfront before booking. It did not feel at all welcoming and diminished the experience. The electric cooker is dated and took an age to boil eggs. Mattress in double room also needs replacing . It has sagged and is lumpy. There are 3 bedrooms and on our arrival only the double bed had been made up. I had to ring the owner to ask about additional bedding which I eventually found under another bed. We made up a second bed. The owner was not pleased I had rung and was quite abrupt . Not exactly welcoming to a guest .Another factor which lessened our experience in staying at the property which is in such a nice place.
