About this house rental

The spacious detached bungalow is wonderful as a retreat for couples (max 5 adults) or families wishing to enjoy a traditional beach holiday. Because of its unique beach location cars are parked on Aberdesach Green, which is overlooked by other properties, and easy access is gained over a small pedestrian footbridge and 140m along the beach. (There is a wheelbarrow in the shed to help with your luggage.) Niwl-y-Mynydd is one of 16 properties in this quiet, peaceful yet not isolated holiday paradise. The pebbly beach starts some 10m from the front door with beautiful sands and rock pools at low tide. The sea is pretty spectacular in the winter months, so if this is something that excites you, be sure to book a stay at this time of the year. Because of the nature of the tides, the amount of sand varies from year to year. For many years 80% of our bookings have come from previous visitors who enjoy this wonderful setting. 4night breaks available from November until March for £ 450 but not including bank holidays. One well-behaved dog (maximum 25kgs)is welcome at a charge of £30.
Electricity is charged at the standard rate by meter reading.

Lovely view from property and quite a nice size, 50 feet from sea when tide was in.Gardens were ok, although rear is a steep slope.Front was small but adequate for our needs. Good location for exploring the area. Negatives 1. Having to cart belongings approx 100 meters along pathway to access property - took us 4 loads, although a wheelbarrow made it easier. 2. Other slight negative was having to pay for electricity seperately after holiday, although I understand why. A good positive was TV stopped working on 2nd night - owners sorted this out the next day with a new TV delivered & installed which was very good. Overall a lovely place to stay, it was quite an old property.

All the family lived staying here. Great to watch the waves and the tides of the sea. A really interesting beach to explore that changed every day too. It was lovely and peaceful when we visited and we'll placed to visit many of the attractions in North Wales. I'm sure that we will stay again.

This is a lovely clean and comfortable cottage right on the beach, the host was very efficient friendly and amenable and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending to others - in fact we have already done so!

The bungalow is right on the beach with panoramic views of the sea, we were lucky enough to see dolphins and a couple of seals. Quite isolated with no local pub or shop in walking distance so if you wanted to go for a drink and something to eat in the evening you would have to drive. The Caernarfon castle is well worth a visit and good value for money. We also visited the llanfair slate caverns and Corris mines we found both fascinating and in formative, it was good to learn some of the North Wales history.

It couldn’t be nearer that rare thing, a beach left to nature and free from most tourism. With both sand and shingle and plenty of wildlife, including a rare glimpse of dolphins feeding late on a quiet evening. Perfect for a quiet traditional family stay, yet near enough, using fast roads to visit Anglesey
