A heavenly place

This is a lovely family-run property. The girls are absolutely delightful and want to do everything to make you stay comfortable. It was in a heavenly spot with nature all around. I had a private villa with a plunge pool right next to a jungle of trees. Nature's Symphony was fantastic! The fireflies garden is right there and is also a restaurant. I had a lovely meal while watching the fire flies light up. This family has been very clever with their organic rice farm, realising that pesticide-free rice paddies attract fireflies and hence they set up this business! I declined doing the video that was part of my stay as I didn't feel right handling these delicate creatures. Any tiny amount of hand-cream or skin products could be toxic for them so I didn't feel comfortable letting them settle on my hand. it was so pretty to see them light up and fly around! My villa was absolutely gorgeous and super comfortable. I slept like a dream. I appreciated the filtered water instead of the usual plastic bottles that are given to you.

My only suggestion would be to use paper straws instead of plastic in the restaurant.

10/10, just perfect

We had a wonderful stay for a couple of nights before leaving Bali, and it was truly the most magical way to end our trip. It felt like stepping into a fairy tale — in the evenings, we were surrounded by little fireflies, and during the day, it was so peaceful to relax by the pool, listen to the sounds of nature, and take in the beauty of the jungle around us. The hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful — they really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. I’d love to come back one day and will happily recommend this place to all my friends. Thank you so much for such a special experience ❤️

The most amazing 12 nights at Fire Flies Garden Villa Bali 🥰

I have just returned from 12 amazing nights at the Fire Flies Garden Villa and all I can say is wow 🥰 The whole trip was fantastic ❤️, I loved every single minute. The villa was absolutely beautiful, just as described and if possible even more gorgeous in real life! The villa is stunning with own private infinity pool, wow! Absolutely perfect for me as a solo female traveller. Nothing was too much trouble, breakfast brought to the room, lunch & dinner provided too should you require. The food was lovingly prepared, fresh food, and gorgeous fresh fruit juices. The villa is situated in Taro one of the oldest villages in Bali. I didn't hire a scooter or car but managed perfectly by hiring a driver for half or full days,( a driver recommended by the hosts) enabling me to see all the sights I wanted to including beach etc. Driver costs very reasonable. I spent a great deal of time at the villa as I came away for some R&, R and wow I certainly got some 🥰 To add even more the fire flies garden is absolutely magnificent and an absolute must 🥰 So if you are looking at travelling to Bali and a little unsure.. trust me book Fire Flies Garden Villas to experience your own little private heaven 🥰 I was very sad to leave and will absolutely return ❤️

Stunning, peaceful and a stay I already miss!

This stay was truly one of the best I’ve ever had! Beautiful fire flies every night with a wonderful private pool. Absolutely no road or foot traffic noise.. just the sounds of the jungle and wildlife. I have travelled throughout much of Bali and never felt more safe and well cared for as a solo female traveller.

Worth hiring a scooter/car or private driver if you want to do a lot of exploring. While there is gojek and grab available, you may wait a little longer being Taro is little further out! But this did in no way impede on my stay, as the lovely family that own the property are always happy to provide yummy breakfast and dinner overlooking the grounds or delivered to your villa!

Ruhig zwischen Dschungel und Reisterrassen gelegen. Familienbetrieb mit 6 - 8 separaten komfortablen Häusern mit uneinsehbaren Gärten und kleinen Pools. Schöne Restaurantanlage mit Diner bei Kerzenschein in separaten Pavillons mit vielen leuchtenden Glühwürmchen. Gartenanlage mit Seerosenteichen. Sehr gute persönliche Betreuung durch aufmerksames Personal. Schöner kleiner historischer Ort mit vielen Tempeln. Nach Ubud Innenstadt ca. 40 Minuten mit dem Auto.

Meraviglioso soggiorno nella foresta ✨

Un luogo che sorprende fin dal primo istante. Immerso nella giungla, in un contesto zen e silenzioso, è molto più di una semplice struttura: è un’esperienza. La pagina di Booking non rende davvero l’idea della qualità del posto – dal vivo è decisamente superiore, sia negli spazi che nell’atmosfera. Qui si percepisce autenticità, cura e un senso di pace che online non arriva. Il personale è una delle vere differenze: presente, attento, gentile senza essere invadente. Non è un dettaglio scontato e cambia completamente il modo di vivere il soggiorno. L’escursione nella foresta, le lucciole, la cena illuminata nella natura… momenti che non sembrano “servizi per turisti”, ma esperienze che ti rimangono. È raro trovare qualcosa che dal vivo superi le aspettative create dalle foto. Qui succede. Se potessi superare il 10, lo farei. Ma più che un voto, questo posto merita di essere raccontato. Consigliato a chi cerca autenticità, natura e accoglienza sincera.

Schöne gemütliche private Villa

Sehr schöne kleine privaten Villen. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas abseits in einem kleinen Dorf, aber das macht das ganze zu einem schönen erholsamen Urlaub. Das Restaurant ist richtig süß gemacht und hat eine gute Aussicht auf ein paar Reisfeldern mit Glühwürmchen. Die beiden Besitzer Yunika und Adi geben sich beste Mühe den Urlaub unvergesslich zu machen. Wir konnten den beiden immer schreiben, wenn wir etwas gebraucht haben.

Het is geweldig!

Het was een prachtige locatie en prachtige privé villa’s. Het personeel was super vriendelijk en je kreeg elke ochtend een appje wat voor ontbijt je wilde en of je het in het restaurant of op de kamer wilde. Het was echt top! Heel erg aan te raden

Het was een klein beetje ver van ubud stad maar veel leuke activiteiten, denk aan mount batur, olifanten, watervallen en rijstvelden waren echt dichtbij

Rundum perfekt und super geeignet für Paare!

Unser Häuschen war sehr schön und hatte einen sehr schönen kleinen privaten Pool mit einem unglaublichen Blick in den Dschungel. Generell das gesamte Erscheinungsbild von unsere Unterkunft war sehr schön gestaltet und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Adi und seine Familie sind SEHR nett und haben dafür gesorgt, dass unser Aufenthalt perfekt war! :) Kleine Info für europäische Reisende: - Wasser wird nicht so heiß, aber mehr als okay zum duschen (das ist ein generelles Ding in Bali, ist nahezu überall hier) - Frühstücksportionen fallen eher kleiner aus (auch generelles Ding in Bali/ Indonesien)

Nuestra estancia ha sido perfecta. El lugar es espectacular, en plena naturaleza, rodeado de tranquilidad y con un ambiente muy especial. La villa es preciosa, todo está muy bien cuidado y limpio. El equipo es súper amable y atento, siempre dispuestos a ayudarte con lo que necesites. Uno de los grandes momentos fue visitar el Jardín de las Luciérnagas, justo allí mismo, una experiencia mágica, sobre todo al poder disfrutarla mientras cenas. Sin duda, un lugar muy especial al que nos encantaría volver ¡Gracias por todo! 😊

Un paraíso en la jungla con vistas de ensueño y hospitalidad única

Nos gustó mucho la villa, como estaba decorada, la comodidad de la cama, la bañera y ducha del cuarto de baño, el porche y la piscina que tienes con vistas directas a la jungla, es una pasada estar bañándote y poder disfrutar de esas vistas y sonidos. Todo está muy limpio y el personal, Adi y su familia, son super majos y te hacen sentir como en casa además de recomendarte zonas que ver y enseñarte el jardín de luciérnagas que se pueden ver cada noche, es todo un espectáculo! El jardín es muy amplio y bien cuidado, tiene zona de arrozales lo que hace que el entorno sea de película. Destacar el desayuno, está increíble, el nado goreng, la fruta y la yuca, no hemos probado nada mejor. Cuando volvamos a Bali repetiremos alojamiento.
