Very enjoyable stay

The property was fab. Lovely, clean and cosy. Higjly recommend

Nothing. The only thing, and out of the host is control was that someone had parked in the allocated parking spaces and there was no room in the car park. Not sure how, maybe this needs to be looked at. A small foldable dining table would be great in the kitchen, especially with kids.

We enjoyed our weekend based at this well fitted and located little house; spoilt only slightly by the lack of attentio

Owners made welcoming and friendly initial contact. Beautifully maintained and seemed recently fitted to a High standard . Thoughtful touches such as sensor Motion lights in hall and night light in bathroom and on Landing. TVs in both bedrooms as well as lounge/ bed 3. Breakfast stools in kitchen. Shower was excellent. Good wardrobe storage. Good parking convenient to walk into central Selby or drive out to countryside or drive/ catch train to York. Quiet location with pleasant pub and curry restaurant next door. Close to a pleasant green space and quietly locatif at the edge of an attractive résidentiel area

Housekeepers had left dirty linen in the kitchen on our arrival and had only left 2 bath towels and one hand towel (for loo basin) despite our being booked as 3 adults. Apologetic but too slow to respond to our contacting them! Otherwise a nice property who have recently opened and asked for detailed feedback so our comments are: Lack of bedside reading lamp meant main light intrusive in double rooms if one person sleeping while other reads. Strange position of TV in one bedroom! Not much space in showeroom to hang or place makeup/ soap bags apart from a draw - hooks or Shelf would help? Also window is clear glazed so had to leave that blind down as people outside in pub car park could otherwise see into shower room. Maybe use opaque window film to give privacy? 2nd bed a bit over bouncy - a mattress topper light help!

New build -- cosy when you find the boiler.

Lovely new build. Once warm- cosy. Equipped and easy to get to York etc Easy to find .

Negs- Communication was limited and not timely. Had to chase for the code and it wasn't clear where the box was Feels like it implys it's linked to the place next door- where they are annoyed that you park in front of the accomodation and ask you to move ( they were nice about it but I'm sure it won't be long) 3 small towels for 4 people.. Boiler wasn't on and no instructions to tell you how. Loud in the evenings as the restaurant uses the B Side of the building so lots of banging.

absolutely fantastic

We booked to go to the stables and it was absolutely stunning the house has everything we needed and wanted it was a short walk from town and 30 minutes from York selby was gorgeous and so was the house done to a high standard and Jade and her dad couldn’t do more for us, it will definitely be our go to home from home now thank-you jade x
