Comfortable short stay at the efficiently run Zeeland Pier.

Zeeland Peer is well run and has everything one needs for a short stay in Cape Town. The rooms are comfortable, well equipped and serviced with excellence. The location is central and facilitates easy access to all parts of Cape Town. The paid underground parking facility is an added bonus if you are using a vehicle to get around. Thank you

There was an occasional malfunction with the lifts which the staff did address.

Everything. We loved everything. The property was clean, Neat and had everything in one place , located in a convenient area, easy to get by . The staff was amazing and kind . The foyer mirror was everything 🥰🥰🤌🤌🤌

Stay away

Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Room not ready when we arrived at 16h00. Lifts and passages unpleasant smell. Surprise R1000 breakage deposit (refunded in 7 - 14 working days). Promised secure parking - full. Offered alternative parking but cautioned that if the owner of this parking complains we will have to move (in this event, parking fees refunded in 7 - 14 days). Zero signage in parking and multiple lift options. No aircon.

It was central to a lot of places, the rooms match their description and the lady at the front desk was lovely throughout our stay.

Enjoyable

-The staff (Sinoxolo and someone else I dont remember) at reception was very friendly and made me feel welcome on my arrival and during the stay. -The TV had many options (Netflix, VIU etc.) and the Wifi was unlimited and as advertised. -The room was also neatly put together and the view of the city's skyline from the pool area was really nice. -Toiletries and everything needed was available in the flat. -There was a fan which was perfect for the hot weather in the room -The location was very central and close to many shops and food places -Face recognition was used to get you in and out of the property which was convenient

-The pool was smaller than expected with not many areas to sit when many people wanted to use the pool. -People in the balcony above the pool also kept smoking weed despite being warned against it several times by the security. This was not the property's fault but guests and tenants need to be mindful of the rules.

So much potential but standards of a quality stay not quite there yet.

It’s convenient the bed was comfortable.

The place is loud and they were unruly guests all night it was not peaceful at all. The parking is R150per day yet there is lots of parking space in the building. The room floors were dirty and looked liked they had not been mopped and swept. It’s so disappointing because the place has potential but they have to manage their guests better to contain the noise and constant disturbances especially in the middle of the night.

Construction site inconveniences 😩😩🙆🏽‍♀️

Cleanliness of the actual apartment and the cleaning staff

There’s still construction work going on in and around the facility. However the focus is on money. The communication on construction should be clear and one should be given a choice at booking. Leaving notes everyday apologising for the inconvenience is not acceptable. Occupation should have been delayed until construction is completed Also the apartments have limited ventilation so it gets too hot in Cape Town summers

The people at the reception are very kind and the hotel is located in quite a central area. The rooms were clean, provided the towels, tea and coffee. There’s also a tiny gym to squeeze a workout!

Provided only one key for two people in the room. The lifts looked shady. One of the lifts didn’t even stop on my floors. The rooms felt extremely hot. The AC didn’t help at all. I don’t think it was worth what it costs.

Overall it wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t stay there again based on the fact there is no air conditioning

The friendly staff, the layer back feeling of the hotel set right in the centre of Cape Town.

A major let for me is the fact that none of the rooms of air conditioning which made it extremely uncomfortable to sleep. The staff did provide an additional fan, but it did nothing! I was forced to open the windows, but this then created another problem which were mosquitoes.

Everything we needed was there. We had a very nice stay. The place was quite and clean.

They took a little too long to clean the room on the first day. When we got back at 15h00 from activities it hadnt been touched but we alerted the receptionist and she sorted it out.

It was new and clean. Although their parking was full, front desk made a plan for me to park in the building. Although they say they have parking on site, you need to pre-book because there are limited spaces.

In the beginning it was a challenge to find the property and to find parking just to check in. There was no airconditioning in the room.

Location and bedroom quality

No TV remote. Deposit requirement was not explicityly commuicated to me. And one has to agree with their deposit requirement policy or else one would loose their booking fee because its non-refundable. The gentlemen that helped us was not friendly Our room didn't have a remote control and he made it look like it was there and we just didn't know where to look/like it was our flaut that there was no remote control. He came to check for it and he also didn't find it and he blamed the Housekeeping. Like what the hell?

The location was okay but Construction was happening which was mentioned.

No aircon, could provide a cooler instead of a fan which was not useful. Summer i would not advise any to go there as the room is stuffy and very hot

Amazing experience

Zeeland Pier apartment is beautiful, clean, furniture ticked all the boxes, stuff cleaning the apartment were friendly. We'd even love buying there ourselves.

We have not received the deposit and it's now the 25th October. We left CT 20th October 2025.

Clean, modern but not happy a R1000 deposit is required upon arrival .

Modern and clean apartment, loved the balcony and fully equiped unit.

I did not appreciate putting down a R1000 deposit , i already spent money to book this apartment, using a verified site with all my credentials and was still required to swipe R1000 before i could get the room key i already booked and paid for. I will not be staying there again purely based on the deposit required.
