We loved how authentic and comfortable the house felt — clearly once a real home, not just a rental. It’s beautifully decorated with wooden beams, Maltese tiles, and a cozy fireplace, yet fully modern with A/C, a dishwasher, washing machine, and even a private pool. The hosts kindly also provided a high-chair and a baby-cot. The atmosphere is calm and homely, perfect for families. The neighborhood is quiet, close to supermarkets, Italian grocery stores, and plenty of restaurants, with a bus stop nearby and easy street parking. It was also great for kids and had everything we needed for our 11-day stay.
There’s a rooster in the neighborhood that tends to start early in the morning — keeping the windows closed at night is the best way to avoid being woken up.
