Discover the perfect getaway at Villa Sunny Side, a spacious, fully detached villa nestled in the exclusive Santa Maria Estate in Mellieha, a charming village in northern Malta. Just a 20-minute walk along scenic coastal paths will take you to Mellieha Bay, the island's largest sandy beach, while a smaller beach is only 10 minutes away for delightful sea bathing.
This beautifully maintained villa offers stunning country views and distant sea vistas, featuring a large pool (10m x 4m) and a separate plunge pool (5m x 2m) set within a private garden. With sun-drenched outdoor spaces all day long, it's an ideal setting for relaxation and family fun.
Accommodating large families or groups, Villa Sunny Side boasts four air-conditioned bedrooms and three bathrooms on the main floor, along with a fully equipped kitchen that flows into a spacious living and dining area. For the larger groups, two additional en-suite air-conditioned bedrooms are available on the lower level (no internal access).
The outdoor terrace is perfect for enjoying the sun, complete with sun loungers, a BBQ area, and outdoor dining facilities. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
While a car is not necessary, it’s recommended for exploring the area, with ample parking available outside the villa. Air conditioning and heating operate on a meter; you will receive 100 units per week, with additional units available for a minimal fee.
Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.
We can assist with airport transfers, car hire, and personalized day tours at competitive rates. A food pack can also be arranged—just inquire about your options!

Villa was as described and kept in a very good condition. The pools are both very well maintained. We were a group of 12 and the property did not feel small in any way. The kitchen is well equipped for those who like to self cater (we do). The bedrooms are all very nice all with air condition units.
The owners are lovely people (thank you John & Karen) who are only too happy to help you plan your stay.
The villa is appointed on a quiet residential street and just outside Mellieha. There are shops nearby for you to buy groceries. Try the local bakeries which serve up lovely breads and pastries.
In my opinion the villa is situated on the best part of the island - Gozo is closeby there are some lovely small beaches also nearby (there aren't many beaches on the Southern side of the island). The ancient capital of Mdina is closeby and well worth a visit. Valleta is definitely worth spending a day and I would suggest taking the local buses (they are frequent and clean) as parking in Valleta is very tricky.
Stay at this villa is recommended. You will not be disappointed.
