We really enjoyed the location. It is right in the heart of Porto, yet very quiet. Although the property does not offer private parking, we were always able to find free and safe parking on the street nearby. The apartment was also very clean and spacious, with plenty of room for a comfortable stay.

The communication with the staff was disappointing. We were informed that we could check in two hours earlier, but this was not properly communicated or organised. We ended up waiting around two and a half hours for a response and only gained access to the apartment about 30 minutes after the original check-in time. The lighting throughout the apartment was also very poor. The corridors leading to the bedrooms were extremely dark, even with all the lights switched on, and the walk-in wardrobe was barely lit. Apart from the kitchen, the lighting in the living room and bedrooms was so dim that it felt like candlelight. Communication via WhatsApp and the Booking.com messaging system was extremely slow, with replies often taking between 24 and 48 hours. Overall, the lack of communication was the biggest downside of our stay.
