Good communication with host, very clean property, pool was great, had a very relaxing time

Signor Gonzalo was extremely responsive when I was booking this property, answering all my questions promptly and clearly. As we were arriving late he offered that we could even send a shopping list. The lady who met us at the property, Inma, was very helpful and showed us around. I had mentioned to Gonzalo that my Spanish wasn’t great so she brought with her an English speaking companion too. She had done a great job with our shopping list. The small fee for this service was well worth it, as it meant we could just unpack and relax in the heated pool and make a quick dinner instead of having to go out to get groceries for dinner and breakfast. The nearby supermarkets close at 9pm so worth keeping in mind. The day time temp was low to mid 20s (pretty average for Feb) so it was lovely to have heated pool for a small daily fee. We were out and about most days visiting volcanoes, caves, beaches so we enjoyed coming home into a quiet residential area. A car is useful to explore the island anyway.

Nice villa but no morning sun due to the location - beds ok but other seating not very good - also no English television- we thought they had Sky! Bit far from centre so would not be back at this area even though it was quiet & peaceful

Had a very relaxing 10 days at the villa La Carabela. Beautifully furnished with everything you need. Extremely quiet and peaceful. We hired a car from AutoReisen, recommended by the Owner. You definitely need a car to get to Playa Blanca where the restaurants are. The weather was lovely and we spent most days by the pool. Had a trip on the ferry to Fuerteventura - definitely worth a day trip. Would highly recommend this villa.
