Ocean Front, Edge Of Cliff - Feel & See Every Crashing Wave From All Room

The condo was spectacular! The view and the sound of the waves really completed our Kauai vacation. Even when we weren't out seeing the sights or snorkeling or whatever, and we were just hanging out at the condo, we felt like we were really experiencing the island. Opening the bathroom windows at night created cross-breezes, so the temperature was manageable. There were also many fans, although we left some of them off just so we could listen to the waves.The shared grill was not very far away and easy to use and in good condition. The closet on the lanai had lots of snorkeling gear -- although some of it was broken (understandable, as that stuff wears out). We ended up having just enough functioning gear for our family of four that happened to be the right sizes, so it worked out. Also, upon our arrival, the door on that closet was broken, barely hanging by one hinge. We tried to minimize the number of times we opened it so as not to make it worse. A couple other minor maintenance issues -- the coffee maker has sticky buttons and seems to be on its last legs, and it was also hard to get the toaster to work. All well within the range of issues one would expect at a vacation rental. I emailed the host about these issues a couple times during the stay, asking particularly what we should do about the lanai closet door, but received no response. Problems with the email address perhaps? No harm, no foul.

The condo was perfect. It sits at the top of the cliffs with a beautiful view of the ocean from all rooms and is decorated with meaningful pictures, lamps and wall hangings that tell the story of Kaui and it's culture. The rooster crows in the morning to let you know the day has come, get out and see the beauty around you. The beds are comfortable, in 2 well appointed rooms, with a pullout couch in the living room. A welcome gift of coffee and wine greeted us when we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host provided us with suggestions for places to visit and was helpful when we had questions. I highly recommend you stay here.

Awesome place to stay - clean, comfortable and the best views for sunrise and sunset. Great home base for visits to Hanalei and Kapaa. We really enjoyed our stay.
