ABOUT THE CONDO...
This direct oceanfront 2 bedroom and 2 bath condo provides spectacular ocean views from the master bedroom as well as the living space. Centrally located in West Maui, makes this an ideal location for a romantic couples retreat or for a fun filled family vacation!
Come see the magnificent ocean views from this SPACIOUS DIRECT OCEANFRONT condo! From your two PRIVATE lanai's, you can see the neighboring island of Molokai and if you come during the winter months (mid-December-April) you can have a front row seat for whale watching right from your lanai! Turtles, spinning dolphins, rainbows and unforgettable Maui sunsets can be seen year-round.
The tropical grounds of Paki Maui includes an ocean front grassy lawn area between the building and the ocean. It's just perfect for sunbathing with lounge chairs and tables to help you relax. From the lawn area there are 5 or 6 steps that lead you to protected waters - ideal for snorkeling, and swimming. During your snorkeling experience, you may see the magnificent Giant Sea Turtles, and many tropical fish and colorful coral. There is a gated heated pool and Jacuzzi area; and a sundeck with lounge chairs. You may choose to barbecue your meals on one of the two gas BBQ grills in the pool/cabana area or you can use the charcoal grills located in the lawn area, oceanside (you will need to pick up your own charcoal). Many of our guests consider the BBQ's on the lawn area to be the "Gathering Place" where you can meet and enjoy chatting some of the other guests and residents. The beach area out front comes and goes based on the tides. Many guests' swim and snorkel right here, but if you are looking for a walkable beach, you have several to choose from, all just a few minutes away! North Ka'anapali beach is the closest about a 1/2 of a mile away.
Paki Maui is centrally located in West Maui between Kaanapali and Kapalua, where you can experience the world-class beaches and golf courses. We are also within minutes of a variety of restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, fish market and the farmers market. The farmer's market is a great place that provides local fruit and vegetables, as well as organic foods and the fish market has great food!
This condo can accommodate up to FOUR (4) guests' comfortably. The master bedroom provides a KING size bed with a direct ocean view, private bathroom and it's own lanai. The guestroom provides one (1) queen size bed and (1) twin bed.
Kitchen is fully equipped with a stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. The cabinets are stocked with dishes, utensils and cookware. The living/dining area also has an ocean view with it's own lanai. Living furnishings include a sofa with 2 chairs; flat screen TV with a DVD player. There is a dining table for six (6) and a smaller table out on the lanai so that you can enjoy your morning coffee or a sunset cocktail! Paki Maui Resort doesn't allow air conditioners to be installed. However, ceiling fans have been placed throughout the condo to help provide air flow. The unit provides FREE PARKING, WIFI, basic cable, and a basic "starter" set of kitchen and bath supplies to help get you started for your stay.

Nice condo, lived up to expectations. The view from the lanai was fabulous.

The view was spectacular! Watching whales from our lanai was awesome. Relaxing on the lawn next to the ocean was so relaxing. The unit was ok, but needs updating and thorough cleaning. The showers especially need attention. The cookware was not great but we made do. Ice maker doesn’t work. Mahalo for a great stay.

The property is as described on the VRBO website. We saw Hawaiian Sea Turtles and Humpback whales every day from our Lanai. Being so close to the ocean was amazing. There was a lot of room for a family with 3 teen girls to have "alone time" when needed.
The condo's furnishings and cookware are outdated and the dining room fan, shower doors, and some of the cookware were unclean. The dust on the dining room fan was so thick that it fell onto our food the first night we were there. After that, we just did not use it.
There amenities in the condo were great - spices, oil, sunscreen, snorkelling gear, dishwasher/washing machine soap, etc.
Overall, we had a great time. Thank you for letting us stay in your little piece of paradise!
