BEST LOCATION DOWNTOWN, DESIGNER FURNISHINGS

Wow, this is one of the best VRBO properties we’ve ever stayed in! Great location near downtown and the Capitol, plenty of room to stretch out for our family of six, and lovely furnishings and artwork. You won’t regret staying here!

This was the perfect spot while I was in town for a conference! It is in a beautiful area just a few minutes walk from downtown Salt Lake City. The home was amazingly clean with lots of amenities such as laundry soap, shampoo, dish washing tabs, and trash bags. It is a cozy and well decorated home, and I spent a lot of time just enjoying the property!A few things to keep in mind: - The property is up on a hill, so the walk to downtown is all down hill, but the walk back to the home is quite a bit of incline.- The property is part of a duplex, so we had neighbors (who were wonderful) that we shared the back yard and patio with.- The fenced back yard was under construction while we were there which meant we were not able to leave our dog outside unsupervised (also to consider the neighbors), but once the renovations are complete I think it will be a great yard for a dog to hang out in.Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the area for short or long-term stays!

Charming little place on the hill. Came for a work conference with two other coworkers and my pup (a last minute addition due to a sitter issue). The home is surrounded by beautiful walking paths and trails to escape the concrete jungle. The small middle room upstairs has a beautiful view of the capitol building lit up at night. The kitchen was a great place to gather for a beverage and the living room offered a great place to catch up on our day. The patio outside would have been great, but the weather was a bit cold and rainy on our visit. The parking is a bit tight in the alley, but very doable. The neighborhood in general is very clean and inviting, lots of local art, history and manicured gardens.

The actual house is very nice and no complaints . The back parking area is dumpy, but the host did let us use another spot that helped a lot. The back wooden deck is trashed and the protective rug covering it needs replacement. It’s a duplex and the renting neighbors were very nice. My biggest complaint was, because Salt Lake City was having record heat we couldn’t stay another day although we paid for 3 nights. The host was extremely helpful and communicative until I asked for a partial refund. After that, we never heard from him again. Like a lot of these rental places, they charge more than most of them are worth and then they are a one way street when it comes to being true hosts. It’s how much can we squeeze out of great photos while doing as little as possible keeping the place up. Too bad. It’s also on top of a high hill so walking anywhere is almost impossible.
