About this house rental
New ( 2020 ) and impeccably decorated home.
This large family friendly home is a Beautiful 5 bedroom, 4 bath home and has views of the ocean. The home has a 14 x 36 private Heated pool exclusively for you and your party. Large light filled living area with a open floor plan. Open kitchen with all NEW stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops. There are two full-size refrigerators.
One in the kitchen and one located in the ground floor pool room.
The dining area seats 14.
The kitchen has all of the small appliances, pots and pans, and serving utensils that you will need for a week of vacationing.
Just off the dining area is a large game room with a slate top pool table and the kids favorite, air hockey table.
Down the hall from the living area is the master bedroom with King size bed.
Second floor has a laundry room with washer and dryer.
Just off the living area is the second floor bath with a walk-in shower and jetted tub.
Step out side on the 10 x 40 foot porch with gas grill and rocking chairs.
You can sit on the front porch and watch the ocean and listen the waves crashing.
There’s a private heated inground pool 14 x 36 .(There is a fee for heating the pool.)
Commercial park style charcoal grill, picnic table, and plenty of lounge chairs and seating for your party.
Just open the door from the pool and you are greeted with a entertaining area, with a large sectional sofa, and a 71 inch flat-screen TV.
There is a full-size refrigerator in the pool room.
Just down the hall from the pool room, is the kids bunk room that sleeps six.
At the end of the hall there’s a Master suite, with Queen bed
and full bath.
This beautiful beach home has 3000 ft.² with a large open floor plan.
All Bedrooms have flat-screen TVs.
This home was custom built for the owners so there’s a lot of extras: such as a soft water system, with osmosis drinking water, ( you can’t tell the difference from bottled water ).
So no more nasty beach water to drink or in your ice.
The home has a NEW washer and dryer on the second level just off the living area.
There’s a large covered porch to sit and listen to the waves, and feel the ocean breeze.
This Side Of Heaven
is professionally cleaned to meet all Covid guidelines.
The owners ensure that all guests have fresh linens, ( beds are made and ready to enjoy ).
In addition fresh towels are provided in all bathrooms, along with starter kits of shampoo, soap and toiletries.
The first and second floors are included in the vacation rental “ This Side Of Heaven “.

The host and family are really nice, accommodating, and responsive. My family had a wonderful vacation at this property and the surrounding area of Emerald Isle. I would recommend this booking to anyone. The beach access is convenient, the pool is perfect, and the play room with pool table and air hockey were a nice perk!

The beach access was incredibly easy — just a short walk to a beautiful, uncrowded beach. Even with rough surf conditions, there was still plenty of space for young kids to safely play in the water. The beach itself was perfect for families, with lots of soft sand for digging and plenty of shells to discover.The house was excellent for our whole family. The kitchen was well stocked, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals together. There was more than enough space for everyone in our group to spread out comfortably. The beds were very comfortable, and the layout worked especially well for families, with two first-floor bedrooms conveniently located next to the kids’ bunk room.We took advantage of the heated pool to enjoy some swimming even on the cloudy and rainy day while we were there.

House was super clean! Porch was lovely. The pool is nice sized and plenty of furniture for lounging. Kitchen had everything we needed and then some. Very short (5 minutes) walk to beach. Beach was wonderful! Not crowded at all; kids loved every minute of it. We’ve been to lots of beaches along the East coast and Emerald Isle is a favorite. Glenn was a great host and other than seeing them one time, we didn’t even know they were there. Great communication. Would definitely stay again!

The description of having 5 bedrooms was not accurate. There were only two bedrooms with closets. One room had bunkbeds with no access to the closet, the rec room had a Murphy bed with nothing for clothing or a closet and the pool room had a murphy bed with no closet or storage for clothing. We were misled thinking there were 5 normal bedrooms . The water was just barely warm for showers, we paid for the pool to be heated and it was not warm.We had to text the owner if we needed the heat-or ac changed. The volume on the tv did not work.
