Welcome to The Carriage House — a luxurious, dog-friendly mountain retreat designed for comfort, beauty, and connection to nature. Enjoy exquisite global décor, top-tier amenities, and absolutely stunning views of Mt. Crested Butte and the Maroon Bells. Perfect for a couple, two couples, or a small family, this eco-friendly home features a private steam shower for soothing relaxation after a day of skiing, hiking, or mountain biking.
The Space
This 5-star home combines rustic charm and modern luxury. The open-concept living area features vaulted ceilings, a cozy gas fireplace, a Sonos soundbar, a Smart TV, and ultra-fast Wi-Fi. The chef’s kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, eco-friendly paperstone counters, a deep farmhouse sink, and a stainless steel island for gathering. A Nespresso machine (pods included), French press, and traditional coffee maker are provided for your morning ritual.
After a day on the slopes or trails, unwind in your private steam shower, offering a relaxing, spa-like experience. In summer, the outdoor patio and deck come alive with a BBQ grill, fire pit, and comfortable seating — the perfect setting for breathtaking sunsets over the mountains.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
Master Suite (Downstairs) – Queen pillow-top bed with memory gel topper, luxury linens, Afghani dowry chests, and a spa-style ensuite with travertine tiles, antique mirror, and a private steam shower. Sleep soundly with your choice of pillows located in the chest.
Cowboy Bedroom (Upstairs) – Two twin beds, Grandpa’s cedar toy chest, charming western decor, and a sleek slate-tiled bathroom. A selection of children’s books and toys is available for younger guests.

Guests enjoy contactless self-check-in via smart lock and have the entire Carriage House to themselves.
Parking: Parallel parking is available directly in front of the home.
Gear Storage: Heated garage for skis, boots, and bikes.

Great little Carriage House, just steps from downtown Crested Butte…..just a block from shops, restaurants, coffee and brewery! Amazing mountain views from the upstairs living area, perfect space for my husband and myself and our 3 year old Labrador. Sitting on the chaise lounge every morning with coffee looking out at the mountains Very clean, bed was very comfortable with nice bedding. Stocked kitchen, towels, paper products Would definitely stay again

We enjoyed this stay, house was clean and well stocked. Perfect location to the mountain shuttle. Steam shower was an extra bonus. Very comfortable for our family of 3.

This small cottage is in an excellent location in downtown Crested Butte. It is nicely furnished and just a few blocks walk to shops and restaurants. The bed in the main bedroom was so comfortable and we loved the steam shower!

TLDR: cramped, overpriced, not "luxury". Why put "luxury" in the title of a property? Luxury is the state of great comfort, elegance, and indulgence, characterized by things that are desirable and costly but not absolutely necessary. This vacation home has some nice attributes, but not much I would consider luxury, other than the price per night. The home is well-built and in a good location. That alone might bring a price premium. Ten or fifteen years ago, this place would be a gem. Today, it is beginning to show its age. The listing could benefit from a floorplan. The biggest thing you need to know is that the house is cramped. Every door opens into a space you need to be in. The front door opens into where you would be in to use the door. Have more than one person in your group? Get ready for single-file, staggered traffic. Want to get into the upstairs shower? Back up into the toilet & watch your head. My wife and aren't large humans and we could navigate these quirks. I'm sure other people would struggle.Want to sit down and have a back to your chair? Your only option is the couch & day bed. The kitchen island is the kitchen table and it has three stools. Sorry fourth person, you are standing.There are many notes taped to doors, drawers, walls, light switches with all the do's and don't. The coffee makers are knock-offs, no creamer provided. There are no tissues to blow your nose. The bed is painfully firm. Plus you pay a 1500 waiver! Luxury? I think not.
