Country house in the Finger Lakes region

The house is very cute and totally country! I thought the bed was comfortable, my husband and son thought they were too soft. I would say the 2 worst things were that there was trouble with the internet. We could get on with our phones, but it was slow. We could not get on at all using their wi fi. The house also only has 1 small tv in the den and we could not watch anything since there was no internet. This was not too big of a deal, but I do like to watch some tv at night to wind down for bed. The other thing that needs improvement is the coffee pot did not work. I tried making a pot the first morning in only got less than 1/4 pot out. It was yucky with floaters. I believe it needs to be cleaned desperately, but it really is a crappy coffee maker. I was really upset with myself that I did not bring my little keurig. My husband and son had to go on a coffee run to the gas station 15 min away each morning. Finally, there NEEDS to be more than 1 big frying pan and 1 little. I wanted to make a nice breakfast and had to make sausage first, followed by the pancakes, which stuck horribly to the pan as it is pretty shot. I think if you invest in a new coffee pot and some new pots and pans, it would be really worth it! I did LOVE that we could bring our dogs and the fenced in back yard was fantastic! No having to take them out on a leash! The property is beautiful and it was nice taking the dogs for a walk! The farm fresh eggs were really yummy too!

The house is nice with three nicely sized bedrooms. The fenced in area for the dogs was a huge plus. The home has very nice country decor and quality beds and antique dressers. I asked ahead about events at the barn. I was glad that I did. The barn is beautiful, but close. It's beautiful countryside and there are a few options for grocery and food delivery. If you want to cook, the kitchen cookware is a little limited, but we got by just fine. Communication from the owners was excellent.

What an absolutely gorgeous and roomy property. This is a new house to us, but we’ve stayed with Ray and Destiny before - highly recommend!! Beautifully kept home and property - left feeding the pond fish bonus!

Beautiful piece of property, house was very clean and well equipped with all we needed as far as kitchen utensils and appliances. Very quiet area was quite relaxing. There was a good amount of different things to do within a 1/2 hour drive. Overall we were very satisfied with the rental.
