Fabulous Kona Reef Resort Ocean Front - Penthouse Floor - 2 BR/2 BA Condo

We enjoyed our stay at Jim and Nancy’s condo. It’s on the top floor and end unit with fabulous views of the ocean and sunsets. It’s a very comfortable condo with a well equipped kitchen. We will book again sometime.

The location of this condo is amazing. It's quiet but very convenient walking to downtown shops and restaurants. The views of Honi Beach from the lanai, the kitchen and both bedrooms is very special. In fact, I can't imagine a better beachfront view on the island. From this location there are short scenic drives to a variety of beaches, lush tropical roadways and historical sites. Jim is a woderful host with great communication and offers so many tips on local spots to visit and always letting you know he is available if you have any concerns or questions. He's made sure that the condo is well supplied with bath towels, clean sheets and plenty of beach gear. The kitchen is adequate with everything you need to prepare a meal. Jim has staged the lanai with a dining table and my favorite, the lounge chairs.Our favorite restaurants in town were Huggo's evening dining room and Huggo's On The Rocks, both easy 5 minute walks from the condo.. There are many restaurants to choose from but we found these so convenient and they offer a nice selection of food and beverages. Many of the servers were friendly and chatty adding to the experience. Being beachfront the condo has some challenges such as wear and tear from the weather but that is far out weighed by everything else it offers. If you want high end amenities and stylish new furniture go to a resort but you'll miss out on this great location and all the comfort it offers. We loved it!

We loved our stay. The condo was clean, roomy and fully equipped. The view from the lanai of the ocean and adjacent beach are fantastic. The sunsets from the lanai are incredible including a few GREEN FLASHES. We observed several pods of dolphins daily. The parking is convenient and secure. The property location is perfect. Loved walking into town for great cocktails and great food. Short drive to Magic Sands and “Snorkel” beaches. Even “Two-Step” is only about 30 minutes away. We will stay again when available. Thank you Jim and Nancy for making your wonderful unit available.

Our stay was excellent at this wonderful property. The ocean view on the spacious lanai was gorgeous...we took advantage of relaxing there every afternoon. The condo was well-equipped and very comfortable and quiet. The location was excellent in terms of being near the town, beaches, and points of interest. Parking was easy. We will definitely come back again and would highly recommend it to others.
