About this apartment rental
Wake to the Pacific, palms moving in the trade winds, and the promise of a walk to Honl's Beach before breakfast. This light-filled, two-story Ali'i Cove condo sleeps six across three bedrooms and three baths, with two lanais for coffee, sunset color, and a little room to breathe. Honl's Beach is about 350 yards up the road, and downtown Kailua-Kona is only a mile north for restaurants, coffee shops, outfitters, and the farmers market. Come back to central air conditioning, the community pool, sundeck, hot tub, and picnic area with gas grills. Please note that the sliding partition in the primary bedroom may not fully block noise from downstairs. For a family or friends who want the ease of Ali'i Drive with a real ocean view at home, this is Kona done right.
The Space:
Ocean and palm views carry through the two-story layout, with a private lanai off the primary suite and a second, larger lanai downstairs for sunset seating and grilling. Cool tile floors and central air conditioning feel especially good after the beach. Three bedrooms and three baths give six guests room to reset, with the living spaces arranged for easy time together.
Guest Access:
Guests at Wai Aha Aloha enjoy access to the shared pool, hot tub, and fitness gym at this Near Ocean resort community. On site parking and a lit path to the entrance make arrivals easy. Some resort facilities are operated independently by the resort.
The Neighborhood:
Ali'i Drive is the classic Kona shoreline route, lined with little beaches, oceanfront restaurants, and places to stop for coffee or a sunset walk. Honl's Beach is close for a quick dip or surf check, while downtown Kailua-Kona is an easy mile away for the pier, farmers market, and evening meals. Head south to Kahalu'u Beach Park for snorkeling, or stay local and watch the light fade over the water. This part of Kona works well when you want to walk more and plan less.
Getting Around:
Kona International Airport is about 10 to 15 minutes away, making arrival simple. A rental car is recommended so you can explore the Kona Coast at your own pace. Downtown Kailua-Kona's shops, restaurants, and oceanfront Ali'i Drive are often within walking distance or a short drive, with beaches, snorkeling spots, and grocery stores close by. Parking is generally available on site or nearby, whether street or lot.
Other Things to Note:
Please note: the sliding partition in the primary bedroom may not block out noise from downstairs. This property is managed by Heavenly Vacations.
