The apartment was perfect for our stay. Spacious, welcoming and quiet with the backyard being the perfect place for a coffee in the morning. Karin was super nice, made us feel at ease and everything went smooth. I would definitely stay at her place again.

Karin is a lovely host. She speaks limited English but we were able to communicate no problem. She was accommodating, helpful and made us feel at home. The apartment has everything that you need and is located in a nice neighborhood. For those looking for a place to stay during Ironman Hamburg, consider this one. The U-Bahn station is about 7 min away on foot. From there, you're 3 stations away from the IM action. Highly recommend this hostess and this apartment.

I booked this as I had to attend a workshop by the University of Hamburg in the Bundesstrasse and did not want a hotel along the main roads. This was a good choice: it is really quiet at night so you can sleep with the windows open. The bedroom is at the front of the house and has only high up windows but these can be opened. Enough supermarkets/restaurants in the neighbourhood and close enough to the Uni buildings and Schlump metro station. This is an older building so the basement appertment has high ceilings and wooden floors, and French doors to the garden. The furniture was adequate, the bed was good and the host very friendly and reacheable. The absolute highlight for me: having breakfast while watching the red squirrels rummage around the garden hiding the nuts I put out for them :-)

Great stay, would definitely stay again. Only 5 minutes walk away from Schlump metro station. On a beautiful tree lined street. Very quiet. Slept so well on the cosy bed. Wonderful deep bath with plenty of hot water to soak in after a day's sightseeing. Really good kitchen, well equipped for all your cooking needs. Nice living room to chill in and a wonderful garden to sit out in . Totally recommend.
